OMG! Where to begin....okay, first, I want to thank them for the work they did and how they explained everything to me. But WOW! I was also really impressed with their responses to other related services regarding my clean-up/restoration needs. They, when I keep referring to the "they" is principally the owner who I'm sure has instilled this in his employees, his team of people, who embodied his ideas of how a business should be run.....that is do the job well and cheerfully. It makes the customer feel that much more comfortable and secure in the work that is being done. The extra benefit to dealing with this company is how much they cared about the related issues and caring enough with helpful recommendations and leads. So, not only was I EXTREMELY PLEASED with the actual work they did, but with the additional benefits of their understanding of my ongoing needs. So, not only do I recommend Kim Bowman, owner of Service Master Of Buncombe County VERY HIGHLY, I would suggest that his new career should be in the field of teaching, especially his philosophy and principles of running a company. Company was quick to respond and completed all the work in a timely manner. All work completed was well done. Everyone was extremely nice to work with and answered any questions that I had. When the job was completed, the left the home very clean and you would not have known anyone had worked there that day. I was very pleased with the overall work and the service.

To be brief: What is/was there not to like? But of course, it would be appropriate for me to be more specific. Let me start by saying that I usually do not make the time to participate in surveys; I will only do so for 1 of 2 reasons: 1) There was something less than perfect in the overall experience, and my comment might contribute to improved service for a future customer. This was clearly not the case - there was absolutely nothing that could have been done better. 2) I was so happy with the service that I could not refrain from expressing my joy. I believe that your goal was to make things look as good as before (as if nothing had ever happened). In my case the resulting look was BETTER than before the problem. Let me list some points that stick in my mind: Great Response Time: Maybe there were other jobs to be done, but mine seemed to be #1. Comforting Presence: When I showed concern, I was reassured your team did this every day. Cleaning Up: I like a clean home; your team wanted it to end up being even cleaner. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO EVERYONE INVOLVED

I am very happy with everything that was done. Chad was very conscientious and we kept in communication throughout the process. All of the workers did a great job and were very nice and easy to work with. There was no debris left behind as they cleaned up every day. I definitely would use them again if I needed a great crew.

Incredible and professional service. My house had flooded and because of the quick response and way the damage was handled, if there were a 10+, I'd give it in heartbeat. Excellent company that gives attention to the customer and to details!

Kim Bowman and his ServiceMaster of Buncombe County crew were excellent in every way in responding to the water damage in our home. Their early and quick mitigation response prevented further damage and made repairs easier. The ServiceMaster personnel and the outside personnel whom Kim employed to do various parts of the repair work were careful, competent, and thorough in what they did. They were all extremely pleasant to have working in our home, and we felt that they all treated it as they would want their own homes to be treated. I believe they have done a very professional job in a very professional manner. I have not met anyone involved that was not kind and helpful. I know they have had to work through being shorthanded as well as most businesses these days but their efforts have always been to provide the best service they could in the best time frame. Every one of the people with whom we interacted was knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. They were here when they said they would be, gave us clear explanations of what had to happen and why. They made getting through this as easy as possible.

All have done a very good job cleaning smoke off walls and repainting

There was a water leak in my upstairs bathroom while I was away on a Saturday night. When I got home, water had saturated the upstairs carpets and leaked through the kitchen ceiling lights onto the wooden kitchen floors on the first floor. I called a plumber who did not return my call and tried to soak up as much water as I could. The next morning - a Sunday - I called Servicemaster. The came out immediately and set up equipment to dry out the carpets and wood flooring. They were very reassuring that they could take care of the repairs, and they carefully explained what would need to happen throughout the process. Some of the wood flooring needed to be replaced and the whole downstairs floor needed to be sanded and refinished. This involved moving my furniture out so the floors could be redone. Servicemaster took care of everything, including packing boxes and moving the furniture to and from my garage. Although the process seemed overwhelming in the beginning, the team from Servicemaster immediately took charge and did an excellent job restoring all of the damage from the leak. I am so grateful to them for their professionalism and support.

When I called, there were at my home to start the water damage drying process in less than 30 minutes.
