Wonderful, caring teachers and staff
All teachers were engaged with all three of our kids. All teachers made us and the children feel special every time we walked into the building and the classroom. Every single teacher knew each of our kids names even though they were not their home room teacher. It was a hard and sad decision for us to leave Kiddie Academy but we had to find a closer place.
everyone we worked with at Kiddy Academy was great. The teachers genuinely care about the children, as do the administrators.

What did we like about Kiddie Academy:
The friendliness of the staff and how they engaged our son and immediately accommodated our requests and concerns, the multicultural breadth of the student body, the delicious and healthy lunches and snacks you provided, the creative, multi-sensory crafts and activities inside and out, Kru Tak and her obvious love for our children, delight in their progress and awesome energy level (I should've mentioned this first), the cheerful environment, the iPad updates and play by play recap of their day.... My son still does a roll call of the teachers and children several times a week.
We loved Kiddie Academy and are indebted to you all! Leaving Miss Melena's school was one of the hardest things about our move from DC.
Kiddie Academy of DC- West End is hands down the best day care center in the city. The owners are caring and alert when it comes to the kids. They know each child by name and will work with parents on any issues that you might be having at home. They are very good about maintaining discipline and consistency. My son had a speech delay, but after 2 months at Kiddie Academy he was bursting with words. I can't say enough good things about this center!!
Awesome teachers, warm, kind community, engaging, creative lessons, trips, and projects, and fun times for children! Plus, the meals are healthy and delicious. My son still talks about lunch at Kiddie Academy.☺
