The variety of programs that span generations and offer such a wide variety of topics and experiences! I really appreciate the terrific staff at the J who develop and implement the terrific array of programs and activities.
The pool for swimming laps. Not crowded, life guards, light on chlorine. The steam room. The locker room. Attendant is very helpful. I haven’t tried anything else, but it’s very convenient and all that I want at this point.

Super friendly staff
I have worked with three personal trainers, all excellent and knowledgeable about what I could and should do to improve my flexibility and physical strength. I have recently started doing Pilates group classes too. The combination of both the personal trainer and the Pilates is showing a big difference in my balance and strength.

San Mateo is my favorite defined to visit I love working out there, it's a bit of a drive for me, but would rather work out there than the new one that opened.
The staff and members at the Metro location are the best. Everyone is super friendly and always willing to help!
The options that are available to work out with from machines to free weights to cardio classes
Nice vibe/chill gym rats who know why they are there, what they are doing and what is expected of them (i.e, gym etiquette). An unpretentious workout studio that let’s you focus on the task at hand.

The Riverside/Bosque Facilities are plentiful and the exercise room has great air circulation. The lockers could use some work. I live 5 minutes from San Mateo club, but prefer other club locations since San Mateo facilities are looking a bit run down.
Love Wednesday Friday Aqua Fitness. Instructor demonstrates , gives cues and expectations. Unfortunately several people come primarily to socialize and their constant chatter is distracting for other members and the instructor. Would Francos consider having separate classes for those who take working out seriously or maybe posting rules?
Maybe even compromising. Monday Tuesday Thursday stay talk and work out. Wednesday Friday focused work out.

Everyone is pleasant from opening the doors to workout until you decide to leave. most instructors are fantastic and so motivated that is spreads during class.
All of the employees are so friendly and helpful. Gen is especially wonderful and always so nice. She is an asset to the community and your gym. Keep up the good work.

The big arrangement of machines and weights for different workouts is awesome! Clean facilities, helpful and courteous staff, and very spacious. Everything a gym should be!

My personal trainer (Aaryn) is very professional and knowledgeable! He listens to his clients and is enabling me to make good solid progress!
