I love coming here so much. I always get a good workout in and everybody is helpful and cheerful. I was sick for a week and was dying to come back. Orangetheory has seriously changed my life. I went from hating the gym and never working out to becoming addicted to going, and now I go 5-6 times a week. The benefits are endless, from a mental point of view to a physical aspect of well-being. There is a true sense of community and nothing better than showing up and having people know your name :)
consistency and accessibility - love the coaches and staff. I love being pushed to my limits, encouraged to succeed, but still have the understanding that there are some things I just can't do anymore, and I'm never made to feel guilty or shamed for modifications.
You go and they tell you what to do - you do not habe tondecide what is first or second or third. You get a well rounded workout every time! The trainers care about safety and form (this is so important!). They push you to do more, but at your own pace.
The coaches here are fantastic! Each one I have trained with is encouraging, friendly, and down-to-earth. They have motivated me through the toughest workouts, providing great feedback and also showing me proper technique during rower and floor workouts. Emory Pointe is absolutely my favorite studio because of the coaches, the friendly front desk staff, and the spacious layout of the studio and workout equipment. I'm so grateful to have found this program as it has jumpstarted me into better physical and mental health, and is truly helping me build healthy habits and achieve my goals!
Anonymity - that there is no pressure on me as an individual. I like being with a bunch of ppl I don’t know. I like that the coaches don’t know me too well and won’t be disappointed in me personally if I don’t show up or can’t do something.
I like the lighting. It feels safe and I feel less visible.
I like that there is a screen to follow if I don’t know how to do something. And, I like the clean equipment and very clear instructions.
Workouts are almost always more than difficult enough without being so difficult that they become demoralizing. They’re also more varied than I would have expected with so little equipment. Coaches are always friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful
