Quick response to a phone call made on Thanksgiving weekend 2020. Keep me updated on the progress of restoration activities. Provided references to companies for environmental testing and abatement. Staff members on site were always polite and willing to answers.

Everything went well. But, when they took pictures of what they were to clean and put back the same way, did not work well at all when it came to my kitchen. They put things back how they thought it should be instead of the way it was. After they were all done cleaning, I spent part of a day rearranging my kitchen to my way. They did not call the days they did not come. That made for an inconvenience to me and my husband. For we could have made other arrangements to do something else. I had to call them to see if they were coming or not. Then, when they called back, they did not apologize for not calling. That needs changing.

We used Servicemaster at the recommendation of our insurance company. All in all, we are very happy we did. No one is perfect, and that holds true for Servicemaster. Their demolition of some of the hardwood flooring that had to be removed in order to facilitate proper drying of the substrate was not at the skill level our builder used taking out the bulk of it and he had a more difficult time making final repairs than was necessary. Also, one of their dehumidifiers had a leaky drain hose that did additional damage to an otherwise undamaged kitchen floor. But, as I mentioned before, they got the job of drying out the dwelling done and done right! The bottom line is we could not have effected the demolition of the damaged product and its replacement nearly as fast or as well had we not employed Servicemaster. AND, they were immediately available and came every day until they were done and we could put things back together. High marks indeed are owed to Servicemaster of Kingston. Thank you!

We were out of state when our home flooded. ServiceMaster of Kingston went above and beyond to keep us informed from afar, e-mailing photos of their progress and spending time on the phone outside business hours to keep us updated. They were knowledgeable and thorough, and we are grateful.
