The Genesis Club at 84th and Q offers great fitness classes for both water workouts and workouts upstairs and in the gym. The instructors and trainers are knowledgeable and very encouraging and supportive. I am glad that a variety of classes are offered to meet the needs of varying age groups. Also, instructors and trainers demonstrate modifications so that the workout is best suited to each individual. I really appreciate the indoor walking track - a terrific way to get my steps in especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate. The staff working the front desk in the early morning are so welcoming. In fact, I have found that all the staff members are friendly and willing to stop a moment to answer a question or, if they don’t know the answer, help you connect with a person who can get the questions answered.
It has a wide variety of exercise equipment and very good towel service, lockers, showers, etc.
it shouldn't take so long to put a person name into the system.
I like the friendly service and you are close to my home. And your hot tub is just what the Doctor ordered
Fix the stairmasters!
Among other things, I like the steam room and hot tub in the locker room. That is a big thing to me in choosing a club.
The trainers and staff are friendly and fun. Fernanda at the front desk quickly learned my name and greets me warmly when I arrive. Members are nice and it doesn't feel intimidating to work out there.

1. When you remodeled the aerobics room and moved it downstairs next to the gym you put a bank of Televisions on the wall which are PERMANENTLY on the worst channels on the dial. I DON'T WANT TO WATCH THE VIEW! I was in there last Saturday and of 7 TVs one was on a college football game. THEY SHOULD ALL BE ON FOOTBALL!!!!! Why cant we change the channels with a remote?
2. You sited the Aerobics room next to the basketball court. NO NOISE DAMPENING WHATSOEVER! I LOVE LISTENING TO TEENAGERS SCREAMING AND CURSING AT EACH OTHER AT 95 DECIBELS. ALSO WHILE THEY SLAM THE BALL INTO THE WALL RIGHT BEHIND US. I slaughtered hogs on a farm as a child. They aren't as loud as these teenagers. What utter imbecile approved these remodeling changes? A deaf blind mute? I know the gym industry isn't known for professional management (remember Ballys)... but holy cow guys. COME ON! You guys make the ignoramuses at Ballys start to look competent. This gym is convenient to my house but I HATE THIS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can guarantee you that I have dissuaded several dozen people to a hundred people from coming over. I worked in sales for two decades. A happy customer will bring you a few more customers. A customer that feels that you don't care about them and just want their money is going to tell everyone how terrible you are. A lot of the old guys sit in the steam and sauna rooms sit and talk about this place. I am not the only one who feels this way.
3. The average age of your membership has to be 45 to 55. Thanks for playing the gangster rap with the offensive lyrics so frequently. Its such a welcoming comfortable feeling listening to that.
There is much more but that is all I have time for at the moment.
There is very little adherence to mask mandate and follow-up at the gym. I have stopped going to this location because it is too crowded and there is little regard for health.
I understand this is a "health club", but the word "club" is still included. C'mon folks, bring back beers and wines for us members. It would prevent some of us from bringing-in our own, which means just a little more revenue to you.
The club is exceptionally clean and the people are friendly. Great classes!
Excellent facilities, world class personal trainers.
Over the years I have attended the former Prairie Life Fitness center for me it has always been the staff and instructors. Thankfully that has not changed.
Water aerobics!
Please make sure the evening staff cleans the weight room. Almost every time I am in the weight room at 5 am, there are dirty equipment towels on the floor, half-full water cups, and other trash all over the room (last week I threw away two half-eaten granola bars - yuck). Please put up more signs to remind people to re-rack their weights, too.
Otherwise, the gym is great - glad not much has changed since it was bought out by Genesis.
I play racquetball. Unless you add courts closer to my house it's hard to recommend a club way southwest.
Fix the arm cycle machine. Add some more Precore elliptical machines. 2 are not enough and they're heavily used.

Problems with billing and failure to follow through on certain contract terms.
I have been going to this gym for 12 years and so am familiar with it. I was very happy with the renovation that was done prior to being bought by Genesis except for the locker room. The lockers are nicer but they removed several rows of them and so it can get cramped when several people are at lockers next to each other. It would be nice if there were wooden benches added to the 2 large open areas so that people have a place to change.

Your website is useless, I cannot log in or get anything to work. The password and / or ID mechanisms are incomprehensible and do not work.
You have reserved and given away the PM lap swim times in the pool to all the kids and now there is no adult lap swim in the evenings.
I love our class trainers!
