Overall the gym is fine. There is a huge lack of weights, if you need a 10lb plate you have to search the entire gym to find some. Also the mask mandate is completely ridiculous. I'm not sure what it has to do with the city but I know of multiple other gyms in the metro where masks are not required while training. I think it would be fair to offer a free cancellation so members can join gyms where masks are not required. But of course, that's not an option.
Convenient locations around town.
There seems to be a lot of kids using the weights and it’s not just a couple in a group, more like 4-5. They don’t wipe down the equipment or wear their masks correctly.
Also, the towel size is tiny, barely covers up anything.
Haven't been there since March. After shots, we are coming in again
Basketball court is always occupied, there are no schedules that I am aware of that indicate when the courts are going to be used by practices, or rec games.
Equipment is old and some doesn’t work very well. Several treadmills need repair.
No concern for customers’ safety in parking lot. It is just smart to clear snow and ice

I need classes for motivation and accountability. I love the variety of classes and the times offered. I have worked with a trainer too. Chris was wonderful. Very patient and knowledgeable.
No transparency on cancellations, need credit/refund back for an annual fee/initiation fee. Been waiting over a month
Some of the equipment needs serviced makes noises or doesn’t work properly.
I was enticed to sign up with promises of personal attention and access to certain clubs, but I've received almost entirely headaches, inconsistency, and terrible service. I was even told that my membership level didn't even qualify me to go to the location where I was signed up. Why would you sell someone on a membership that didn't even give them access to their home club?!
Safety protocols are enforced and it is clean and spacious.

Train your front desk staff that is new better. TJ is great, but some of the other young people manning the front desk do not have a clue. I worked at a young age at clubs at the front desk of clubs in Omaha and Lincoln and there was nothing that I did not know how to do as far as the operation of the club and if I did not there was someone I could talk to to respond to the publics questions or concerns.
Club needs improvements. It's old and outdated compared to other clubs.Yesterday I went to stretch on black mats upstairs. They were dirty and very worn . I didn't even want to sit down. My friends and I have been requesting new mats for months and nothing happens. Soo............not sure how this will help.
Your locker rooms aren’t secure. I had my wallet stolen out of a LOCKED locker on 1/25/21. I later found that there had been other thefts in the past couple of months. Why weren’t members warned of this security problem?
Your tennis pros are great, but why are you trying to solicit new tennis players when it is difficult to get court time now? I pay $80/month plus league fees and I am only guaranteed 6 hours of doubles per month. Not worth it if I can’t get additional court time. Also, your outdoor courts are in bad shape.
Repaint the parking lines on the large parking area.
Better snow removal. You have a lot of young able body workers, start using them.

The website says COVID protocols include taking temperature upon arrival which wasn't happening at this location. I also saw a lot of people walking around common areas without a mask on.
The locker area is not as clean as it previously was … materials are left in the locker and not cleaned up.
A concern that if you want to pay for your monthly membership (by cash) it needs to be done with membership. I attend early morning when Membership has not arrived.

I belong to what used to be Sky Fitness and Wellbeing of south Tulsa and since it has been bought out I have noticed a lack of respect for the equipment and staff/ other members as the new people (previous Genesis members) come in. Things like leaving their towels on the floor for staff to pick up, mistreatment of the equipment, and other things.
I am not blaming staff, they're great, but I am not appreciating the "new" members. Unfortunately t's probably too late to enact an increased fee for the south Tulsa location the people who didn't already belong to Sky so I suggest you increase the standard of the other Genesis gyms. By this I mean improve the quality and care of the equipment - if something is broken, fix it in reasonable time - have a towel service, do a better job cleaning, and set up a way for members to recycle their water bottles!
