I love the group fitness classes - I feel strong and challenged in every class. The instructors are friendly, helpful and remembers each person.
The club is convenient and after the remodel a couple of years ago it has even more equipment and upgraded shower/locker facilities.
Trainers and employees should all park away from the club in a designated area .. I see them park in close spots all the time and the paying members are forced to hunt for parking - many times far away from the club . I am talking about your Overland Park club
More staff. I just returned to the gym due to virus, and while signs are clearly posted about wearing masks, several people come in without one, or they remove after entering. No one on floor approaches the offenders.
Personal trainers working fir Genesis don't make their clients wear them.

The constant attempt to make all the gyms top quality.
Misled by promotion offer from membership services when enrolling in membership. Was told I would have 4 free personal training sessions with manager of personal trainers. First session with manager which was assessment, set up second appointment with manager only to be handed off to other personal trainer for second session and then followed by same other personal trainer for third session at which time they said sessions were complete at 3 not 4 and I could sign up for more personal training.
Meanwhile as I observed manager was the gateway for new members as I seen him always just doing assessments and then moving clients to other trainers. I am a very experience weight lifter and had I been told this up front I would of most likely chosen another free option rather than personal training with this offer.
This makes me question the integrity of business done here and most likely will not take part in any additional expenses offered through this company. Depending on your needs for the gym, overall good gym with many classes and a nice variety of equipment and clean so would only recommend based on this.

The gym is conveniently located near my residence and is open most of the time for my family to get in a workout. Hopefully soon it will be open 24 hours on Fridays & Saturdays.

Locker room to small and outdated.
Weight equipment is old and quite a few pieces are damaged.
Some equipment could use updating or maintenance. When a piece of equipment isn’t working, sometimes it takes a while for it to be back in working order.
