The location and the friendly staff members are some of my favorite. I love how motivating the personal trainers are, glad I signed up at the Aksarben location. I just wish there was a swimming pool and steam sauna.
I like the friendliness of the staff and the variety of equipment that is available to use.
More weight equipment on the other side of the second floor at the 103rd and Metcalf location.
Friendly staff
It's very down to earth and straight forward, I also like that there is a sauna.
Love this club, it’s clean, big, new and it offers everything anyone can ask for.
Family club
The clubs are all great from what I’ve seen.
I would recommend them to any of my friends.
The more friends there the better I think I might workout.
Nothing wrong I'm just not someone who will recommend a gym to people. If they ask where I go I'll mention it. Nothing has been above and beyond that would make me bring it up with others.
More squat racks and deadlifting platforms.
Wide array of services. Friendly staff. More affordable monthly rates compared to Lifetime. Could work on cleanliness most noticeably on floors in locker room and south workout area.
The hours and convenience of being close to home.
Wearing a mask while on a cardio machine is too hard to do
The club is very worn down and a bit dirty. The machines (treadmills, ellipticals) are often out of service.
Clean the yoga room
Size of the club plenty of room for workouts with a variety of equipment and accessories to compliment workouts. Equipment kept clean and in working order. Love the dressing area, large clean showers with amenities and clean towels. Workout classes are a bonus. Appreciate aerobic equipment options, straps and bands. Use it all. I like checking my.account status online.
I like the cleanliness and the variety of equipment and things to do. There is something for everyone!
Locker room amenities - quality towels (larger); improved shower, steam and sauna areas;
The club isn’t as clean as it used to be when it was Prairie Life. And a prominent sign is needed on the swimsuit water extractor that it’s for swimwear only. I see guys using it for sweaty clothes. Gross!
Zumba during the day
The weight area is very small and the equipment is old and needs to be updated. It gets crowded at times and many types of equipment that I use are often in use. I honestly only come to this location because it is close to home. The other location on 84th street is a far better gym.
The locker room was a mess. Missing locker doors and lockers with parts missing made it look unsightly.
Super impersonal and not friendly
The elite swim club group that comes early in the mornings are opening the door to the outside even though it’s not to be opened. So when we arrive the water and air is cool. I have reported this to the front desk every time I see the door open and only 1 time did someone come and shut it. As a member, I shouldn’t have to take care of this.
Also don’t understand how the pool water temp can change so much from day to day.
There is no one in management who cares about our 6:45 water class. We have all been coming for years and years. We still only have an instructor 3 of the 5 days. We are all back now after Covid vaccine and would like instructor 5 days.
I actually joined for the water aerobics and I love it, great exercise and the instructors are awesome. I am very happy to be back. I definitely recommend Genesis Health Club for whatever you desire.
The whirlpool is closed more than open. The shower heads are broken,There is only 2 hair dryers in the womens locker rooms and now you have to go up to the front desk if you need a towel.
It’s convenient and perfect size gym to work out in.
Very clean, that's important. All staff is very friendly. Instructors are great. Love all the choices of different classes. Am anxious for pool to open to do water exercise classes.
