I think the new club is wonderful, but I am having a hard time finding time ranges when it is not too crowded to access the equipment I need. I am thankful that one of the trainers, Harold, has helped me figure out time ranges when it is the least busy. Without that help, I might have cancelled.
Staff are all so friendly and availability of classes.
Everything. So many options to choose from.
The club is great I want to get all my health focused friends going there.
Weights and variety of equipment
Fix the pool area. The paint is chipped they need to replace the pool divider it’s faded. It looks old everywhere compared to the rest of the gym. Everything is brand new new equipment the new paint job up stairs and down stair. The pool area looks like a old sad part of the gym no one cared about.
Depends on who you are or how you look determines how you get treated 😕

I changed clubs because since October my trainer had changed 3 times and was about to change for the 4th time. I like the people but, its was important to me to have consistency in the tranner. Someone who knew me and what I needed.
3 pools, water exercise classes
The front desk employees do not seem to know any answers to common questions and in fact asked me to wait for membership and forgot about me. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked if I should come back and they didn’t know I was waiting.
We have been members for nearly 6 years and I enjoy the class instructors and the club itself.
I am hoping they may consider putting a door in the spin room to allow air circulation and consider outdoor classes when weather permits since it is very difficult to cycle at high intensity with a mask.

I like your class instructors very much! (Pilates, barre, yoga, forever fit). The instructors are excellent, the class times are convenient for my schedule. Most of the staff members are very friendly. I like that you're following the Jo Co mask mandate and no longer requiring masks.
Healthy food selections in the cafe, as well as free coffee (nice perk). More class offerings that are included
Pre-covid I was generally happy with the gym. However, I recently returned to the gym for the first time in months and there was no effort to enforce the mask mandate. I understand that's difficult with clients, but staff should set an example by complying.
The towels have all turned into rags...and I suspect you will be discontinuing towel service in the near future. VERY disappointing. The aquatics program is your shining star and the towels are a mess, and many showers are broken, the shower curtains are an embarrassment, and there are only TWO hair dryers in the whole womens' locker room! I have been a member for 6 years, but I am considering looking elsewhere. I just love your aquatics program and that is the only reason I haven't left yet. Also, PLEASE fix the outdoor pool heater! Families AND water class attendees will be furious if you don't! And will leave.
I love the variety of group exercise classes. I'm more motivated in a class setting! I appreciate the sign ups for class as it makes me accountable to attend. Genesis South is always clean and members and staff are so friendly.
The pool sign up is a cluster.
Update the locker rooms. Keep the floors clean in the yoga studio. They are often dirty and dusty.

Equipments not repaired promptly, towel supply not adequate
• Clean and kill the mold in the men's showers
• Fix the steam room from constantly breaking
• Lighting is harsh in tennis courts
• Lighting is dark in the bubble...one light is out and one has been broken for weeks
• Create a real walk way to the bubble tennis courts instead of just tarps
• New furniture needed in viewing tennis area
• Add a drink bar
• Add complimentary towel service like at WDM Genesis

I’ve reached out to the company through email from the website, spoken with employees who have emailed management, and tried to add to my account with no success. Any one I have talked to in person has been really nice and understanding to my concerns I’ve had. They just don’t have any authority to do anything about or make a change. These people could even see in my account that I had reached out to the company asking to make a change. No one bothered to follow up with me. At this point I don’t refer anyone to the club because it’s not a supportive place to it’s customers.
Class size too big for aerobics
My 16 year old son had his earned money stolen from him in the basketball courts and was told that there are no cameras pointing there so nothing they can do, even though he knows who did it as he plays basketball there many times. Another instance I brought to Rodney Steven last summer when dealing with the front counter interacting with my then 15 year old sold berating him on why he wasn’t going to the protests. Then to find out after waiting that the west roads location remodel isn’t included in our membership has all but a sour taste in our mouth.
