Friendly, fit staff. Encouraging. Varied workouts with alternatives for injured or low impact folk. Love that. Good atmosphere.
Forces me to do more weights than I do on my own. Good variety of exercises.
It's always challenging and an hour long
I love that I come in, someone tells me what to do, and I get a great workout. The coaches are energetic and warm, the music is great, and other folks are also really nice! I love going.
The atmosphere is great from the moment you walk into the studio! All of the employees are happy to see you trying hard and pushing through your goals! I'm new to OTF but I can tell soon I will be part of the family!
I love Orangetheory because I get an intense workout and it goes so fast it seems like it is over in 10 minutes. The trainers pay attention to any sports injuries and ensure that you have an excellent workout experience. I have already told a number of people to try Orangetheory and I am very glad that I chose to join!
It went fast!
The attentiveness of the staff, at a comfortable level. No high sales pressure, no locked in contract. Coaches genuinely pay attention to you and care.
2 things: Pace and Intensity!
I love OTF Ballard and the trainers there!!! The only reason I did not give it a 10 is that there are always waitlists and you can't book past your membership renewal date. When that happens I am on a waitlist for at least 1 (if not longer) week and it causes me to miss out on classes. It is also hard to reach the front desk since all calls go to a call center and the call center does not always answer or call you back.
It was my first visit and I really liked the flow of the 60 minute workout. Jackie, our trainer, was fantastic and quite helpful. It is an atmosphere where you want to push yourself but can also be comfortable to over do it based on your current athletic abilities.
Love the work out but the music kills me. The remixes and mashups have got to go. Mixing it up with some classic rock, hip hop, anything else would be great. Also, at other OTF studios the next class is permitted to enter once the other class is stretching or done. Waiting in a line through the lobby in the way for everyone trying to get their belongs is a pain. The classes (mostly for Alex) routinely start 5-10 minutes late. Starting on time for each class would be great.
Fast Pace, instructors, always changing. Good overall workout
Music, welcoming and friendly atmosphere, go at your own level, lots of schedule options
Things I like -
Close to home - Like the short intervals, I stay engaged throughout the entire workout - There is a great balance of friendly supportive environment and yet I can be in my own zone - Like that all sorts of fitness levels there together and it totally works - I like that I have to sign up for each class, it helps to keep me accountable -
I wish there was more opportunity for core work
I like the fact the workout isn't the same every time and that the coaches really try to motivate the class.
Small classes, dedicated stations, workout data displayed and tracked for you.
I love the fast paced, hard work out environment. No standing around in between anything. Get in,get out and burn calories. I have worked out all my life and think I have found something that I feel accomplished after every class.
Everything! It's full on and I feel that even only going twice a week I am seeing results!
I am in so much pain but look forward to going back everyday. I want to do better everyone there is motivating. It is great to see my results of the workouts and watching the zone helps motivate to push harder. I am excited to continue my journey!
