I hate working out. I love OTF.
The efficiency and teamwork by the staff to get everyone temperature checked, checked-in, welcomed, and sanitized is noticed and appreciated. The workouts are effective for many different fitness levels since everyone pushes themselves according to their own heart rate. And I can't compare Cleveland Park to another location, but staff and coaches take the time to remember names and make small talk. It's very welcoming and I always leave feeling better.
Variety and amazing coaches!
The dynamic nature of the workout is a major improvement for how i used to workout myself. It constantly forces you to address new movements on the floor to keep from over training / under training certain parts of the body. I also love the positive attitude and commitment to improvement by the couches, staff, and rest of the athletes.
I love the variety of exercises, the positive vibe from the coach and there’s is always good music to uplift my energy.
I used to do crossfit but I realized it was too much for my body, even the orthopedist warned me against it. So, in OTF I get the best from weights and cardio without hurting my joints/muscles as much.

Like the pace, the ease of running in with easy parking and running out, have felt safe with COVID and I've never been to a gym where everyone knows your name - its awesome!
My only feedback would be that some coaches are more helpful than others - I like when they give attention and adjustments. Half do, half are there just managing time and demo-ing it seems.
Fast & inclusive
What’s not to love? The OTF West End community is amazing. I live across the street from another OTF studio but I walk the two miles to and from each time because I can’t imagine a better OTF studio than West End. I’ve tried a few different boutique fitness classes at various franchises but OTF is the only one that has stuck. The workout itself is extremely dynamic and always challenging. The coaches are phenomenal and the most empowering/motivating. I always feel like my best self during and after class. Each class I complete feels like a whole new accomplishment and that’s why I can’t stay away. Through COVID the studio has done a wonderful job of remaining safe and socially distant by adjusting studio rules as required, sending out reminders to clients about new protocol, and always wearing masks and wiping down equipment. I always feel safe. Shoutout to the incredible studio sales staff and the coaches for always being positive and making everyone feel like a special part of the community!
Orange Theory is everything I needed in a workout program. Belonging to a gym seemed so intimidating. I don’t know what to do or where to start, and I had never ran in my life (ever!) unless you count tag in grade school. Anyone can do Orange Theory. ANYONE. You simply modify the workout to your skill level, and then build on that. For the first 2 months, I power walked during the treadmill portion. Now, I can run almost 3 miles without stopping. The coaches are so motivating and ready to offer modifications for exercises that are too advanced. My absolute favorite thing about the workout is that I don’t have to think about my workout. The hour long (some 45 minute options) sessions are led by the coaches who guide you every step of the way. There’s no down time or gossiping at the water fountain. You work out for an hour and you’re done! The work outs change every day. I will be a member forever.
OTF is an awesome 60 min workout. Efficient in terms of variety (run, row, floor); motivational from the staff & music. It's a clean and fun 60 mins. Again, staff at OTF Wharf is absolutely top notch. I give OTF Wharf my STRONGEST recommendation. Keep up the great work!
The coaches keep the classes engaged and moving. The workouts are challenging and I know I’m making my time at OTTenleyTown count! Each workout follows a formula (cardio/floor) but is different-so zero boredom. Great attitudes from staff and coaches all around.
I like that it involves 3 different types of workouts in one session, that it has clear goals for each workouts, and that it's not always the same so it doesn't get boring. I also like having the coaches there to motivate you and help with any issues.
The variety of the workout and the energy of the instructors.
First and foremost I feel really safe and that the studio is really clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and while I recently started going I feel like I am already becoming part of the community. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and it’s really encouraging to see clients of all levels working out. The coaches are quick to correct form and offer modifications and I never feel “bad” about myself after leaving the studio.
I like that I can dial up or down the intensity of my workout. Classes, that have skill levels attached can be concerning, what if the class is too easy and you are not making the most of your time? What if the class is too advanced and you walk away defeated or embarrassed. OT allows the flexibility to always workout at an optimal level for myself.
Whenever I’ve taken a workout class, it often feels like the coaches want the entire class to be at a certain level. At OrangeTheory, the coaches motivate you on whats best suited for your needs. Everyone is at different levels and the coaches motivate you to push to your best abilities.
Everything!!!! The studio, the energy, the workouts, the coaches!! And all the measures taken to keep everything clean!

I really appreciate all the COVID safety measures you employ. Having been to other studios in other states during COVID, your studio really makes me feel much safer.
I like the workouts and have no problems there. However, if you pay for unlimited monthly, I don’t think there should be extra charges for cancellation. Or there should be like a few that you can cancel monthly and not get charged. As a busy professional sometimes I can’t control last minute Calls that pop up. To pay over $200 and still have late cancellation fees is a little extra.
