Customer Testimonials
Bach to Rock is awesome. I have a pre-school age child that has been attending for over a year now. It's wonderful that he gets to learn within a group setting and, more importantly, at his own pace.
My daughter's 7th birthday party was amazing!
Sam is great at keeping lessons fun!
Our son has really enjoyed taking drum kit lessons at Bach to Rock. All of the staff and instructors are really great and he has progressed well in his lessons. After he was with the studio for a time Kayla, who manages the front desk (and so much more!) mentioned that there were a couple of bands looking for a drummer. Bach to Rock helps students get together to form bands for similar age and experience levels. Our son decided to try out with one of the bands and they mutually decided that they were a great fit. Since then Bach to Rock has really stepped up to find them performance opportunities. They have performed at county fairs, Cancan Wonderland, the Eden Prairie Center and most recently at 7th St. Entry!
Friendly atmosphere for kids. The learning themes are very innovative and exciting for kids to adopt.
My daughter loves her vocal teacher. She is very professional and she knows how to teach a young child.
Hey Sarah! Thank you for your feedback! We are so glad that your daughter loves Ms. Veronica as much as we do!
We love the band my son is in and how it allows him to play with other kids. It’s his favorite part of the week!! He has improved so much since starting there!
Thank you so much for your kind review, we love having Hudson as a part of our Bach to Rock FloMo family! He is a total Rockstar

The variety
I'm 67 years old. I am far from a natural musician. I am dyslexic with a predisposition to turning things around. A lot of simple things that seem to be easy to others can be very difficult for me. The teachers have been patient with me and allowed me to grow at my own pace and not been judgmental. My parents bought me a guitar when I was 11 but when my disabilities became an obstacle they stopped my lessons; didn't want to waste their money. I really wanted to learn to play guitar, even just a little, but I didn't even have the ability to tune it. So, I just gave up. I still had the guitar when I retired (at 65) from teaching/coaching so I dragged it out of the attic and started practicing chords. I vowed I wouldn't buy lessons or anything until I built callouses; meaning I was serious. I got callouses and went to store to buy new strings and discovered that for $300 more the new strings came with a new guitar. I bought it. It is actually a decent guitar so I practiced some more and at a festival I came in contact with Bach to Rock folks and decided to take lessons. I am still at it and hoping some day to be able to share music in a meaningful way with others. Thank you for providing me the opportunity.
Thank you so much for the lovely review Rick! We love having you as a part of our Bach to Rock FloMo family!
Everyone in the Scarsdale location is very friendly and helpful when we need schedule changes.
Thank you so much for offering the first class music education to our kids! My daughter enjoy learning here so much!
Very sweet staff and my daughter really enjoys learning about all the instruments.
Teacher is cool and has good techniques to make sure the little ones are learning snd having fun
I appreciate that my daughter genuinely enjoys her drums lessons and feels her teacher, Tanner, makes it fun so that she looks forward to going each week. I also appreciate how accommodating and helpful your team is with makeups. And most recently, this new chart system for offering rewards for practice time--brilliant! I am quite impressed with your program. Thank you!!
Great group of people who take great care in educating children about music!
I really like that my instructor, Andy, pushes me to improve while also recognizing that playing guitar should be enjoyable and stress free. I can see how following a standard routine can lead to measurable improvement over time. I recently bought a new guitar and took some time getting used to it, and in doing so I got away from my normal practice routine. Andy got me back on track, but did so encouraging me to add new techniques and skills to my practice. I am encouraged by Andy's confidence in me which makes me want continue to push myself.
Sorry about this being a lil late...
I would give the Bach To Rock encounter, staff and business associates an excellent rating.
Owner Rick is pretty cool...and good people...
Instructors are nice...they all speak, and chat...
MY personal instructor, Jane, is a retired music teacher, and has THE most patience of anyone Ive ever known. Understanding, patient...and willing to work at any pace.
I am an older student...in my 60's. I had no knowledge of how to read notes let along play a keyboard/piano. It's taken me awhile, ...but Ive come along way from where I was at the beginning.
Excellent...

hank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. If there is anything we can do better to improve, please let us know at the front desk. We are here for you and happy to help!
B2R has been an awesome resource for my son. He’s learned quickly and with confidence thanks to his incredible instructor, Tim. Tim has not only been teaching drumming on a kit but has put in time with more school band stuff my son needed help with. During the school’s winter performance, my son’s first time playing snare with the band, he nailed it… and that’s because Tim had prepared him and given him the confidence he needed. As a drummer myself. I can vouch for Tim’s knowledge, but it’s his obvious love of doing it and how good he is with the kids that makes him a star. Truly can’t say enough good things.
the best music school.
Music education enhances a student's life and provides them with opportunities for creativity.
They acquire a skill that will stay with them their life long. The one-on-one with student and teacher helps with focus and that attention for that half hour is very beneficial.
The whole staff was so patient with the kids throughout the birthday party. Most had never played an instrument and the B2R team did a great job showing them the instruments and teaching them basic skills. Amazing how a group of kids could come together to create a compiled song. It is a great idea using a familiar song and project with such a neat outcome to spark their interest in music. Thank you so much for all of your efforts!
The instructors work so well with the students - In particular, my son's piano teacher, Leon, has been a phenomenal teacher, role model, and inspiration.
Teachers are good with kids as well as music.
My kids love it and the staff is great!
The ability for a musician to play in a band and get to perform live!!
The staff is incredibly responsive and caring. And the teachers are invested in our childrens' musical growth.
