I am an out of state buyer and Amerispec was engaged to do the inspection on the home I am interested in purchasing by my NC realtor who was there during the inspection since I could not be. I was very impressed by the concise report that was emailed to me the same day after the inspection was completed. I did speak with Stuart briefly prior to the inspection and he was very friendly and professional.

Techs have said broken window seals are cosmetic only but then in their 'report' they 'recommend' to repair or replace. this is confusing and troubling to buyers and sellers as something that 'has to be done' because it is recommended by an inspector. Better that the report actually say what the tech actually says... repair or replace is not mandatory to function of conducting heat or cold but rather cosmetic only
