I thought Mike did a terrific job. When I mentioned that I would like to learn as much as I can during the inspection, Mike told me that he was here for me and that I would not be in his way. He was very helpful in answering all my questions. He explained everything he was looking for and any potential issues to look for. I felt like Mike was my 'new best friend' after the inspection. I was amazed at how quickly I received the inspection write up from Mike. I believe it was just a couple of hours. I also enjoyed the Amerispec binder full of home ownership information.

The report was great. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the inspection because I am moving from out of state. However, the amount of detail in the report to include dozens of high quality photos made me feel like I didn't miss out on anything. I feel so much better about the home buying process with such a great report. Also, when I called to arrange payment over the phone, the staff was very helpful and friendly. So glad my realtor recommended you!
I highly recommended AmeriSpec to my client, and I am all about truthfulness, however, it is important that inspectors don't become alarmist over trivial things. According to my client, she stated that the inspector looked under a rug and some bugs went scurrying and he recommended that she go home, take a shower and wash her clothes immediately as he thought they were "head lice". It freaked her out and she decided to terminate the contract. In all fairness, the inspector had another side to the story, so not sure whose version is correct.
The Inspector was very professional,answer all our question and prepared an excellent report. He went beyond what was require of ihim which we very much apprecaited.

Professionalism
the service is ok nothing special its a 2008 house 958 sq feet.We like the brochure they provide after they do the inspection, the only thing that bothers me is before i book the inspection i told laurie(frontoffice) if she could at least give me a discount she said that the owner is not there and they don't give discount, but after the inspection is done i saw Fred (the inspector) put the $25 discount coupon in the counter, and i don't think they will provide me a hard copy of the inspection. the rate she gave us is $498.
