We purchased our home from outside of the province so everything was done long-distance. I appreciated that AmeriSpec had the technological capacity to make that easy (for example, signing documents online, online payment, and being able to speak with the inspector over the phone after the inspection. The inspector was very knowledgeable and gave context to issues that were based on region, location of the house, age of the house etc.

The entire experience was very efficient and professional. The booking of the appointment was quick and virtually no notice was require. Fred was more then willing to answer all questions I had during the inspection and give feedback where my knowledge was lacking. He checked everything with care and detail and provided the report a couple hours later. I was more than satisfied with his professionalism and level of service. The inspector was very professional went about his inspection in a timely manor, all the time he kept us informed threw the whole procedure and taking the time to answer all our questions. Very good experience, very thorough
After getting my report back there were comments stating that inspector could not "inspect" certain parts or areas of the home because of items in the way. I feel like after scheduling the inspection with the receptionist, one should be advised that it would be helpful to not have "items" in certain areas that may needed to be inspected. Also if that was an issue to be stated in the report, one would think that the inspector would have advised that he/she could not or need to , inspect a certain area of the home due to items.
Nick Williams did a very thorough inspection with the latest technology which allowed him to point out potential issues. He spent a good amount of time performing the inspection and was professional and personable. Highly recommend him.
