Bien que j'ai beaucoup apprécié le professionnalisme de l'inspectrice Josée lors de l'inspection, aiinsi que ses réponses rapides à mes courriels par la suite, le temps pris à recevoir le rapport initial est tout à fait inacceptable. Inspection faite le 11 août 22, rapports initial et final reçus le 2 mars 2023, presque 8 mois après. Comme je n'avais pas en main le rapport initial, il y a quelques rénovations qui y étaient mentionnées (et qui ne m'ont pas été mentionnées oralement) que je n'ai pas fait, ce qui explique probablement pourquoi je ne me suis pas qualifié pour l'amélioration de l'étanchéité de la maison, malgré tous les efforts que j'ai fait et dépenses encourues. Je me serais attendu aussi à quelques explications sur le pourquoi du peu d'amélioration de l'étanchéité de la maison, car aucun commentaire de l'inspectrice lors de l'inspection finale me laissait croire que je ne qualifierais pas pour cette subvention.
J'ai dû demander qu'on me fasse parvenir les reçus pour les inspections une fois les factures payées, une autre chose qui n'est pas normale quand Amerispec sait que c'est demandé pour obtenir un remboursement des frais d'inspection à travers le programme de Subvention Canadienne pour des maisons plus vertes.
En somme, je suis très satisfait de la compétence technique de l'inspectrice, mais le suivi administratif d'Amerispec est atroce. Si la compagnie prend trop de clients pour fournir le service dans un temps acceptable, alors il lui vaudrait peut-être mieux en prendre moins et satisfaire plus de clients que d'en décevoir.

The professionalism, thoroughness and friendliness of the staff was immediately apparent within the first minutes of interaction and it just got better from there. Matt and Chase provided detailed explanations and truly inspected every possible nook and cranny of the residence. Explanation of deficiencies were easy to understand and the generated report provided excellent images.
Dario was very thorough and took time to explain things to us. As potential home buyers, we appreciated his patience with our questions and his honesty about the condition of the home. We would definitely work with him again in the future!
It was quite easy to book an appointment with your company and the tech who did the inspection was friendly and on time for the appointment.
Great inspector and timely service
When I first talked to kevin about an energy evaluation, he talked me through the application process and gave me some ideas on other grant programs avaliable. The Tech that did the inspection was friendly. He explain every process he did. He was very efficient and talked to me about the results.
He showed what grants I was eligble for.
