excellent inspector - down to earth - very helpful and informative
We had a Pre-Retrofit Energy evaluation September, 2023. Steve was our Energy Advisor/Inspector. We weren't sure what to expect, but Steve explained the process very well, answered any questions we had, and put our minds at ease. He had recommendations for us which were greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for an Energy Inspection, look no further. It started with the first phone call. Kevin answered right away, even though he was clearly busy based on the noise in the background. I had tried other companies on the Federal website list, no one else answered or even bothered to call back to my messages. Even after more than a week later as I write this, none of the other companies have ever called back. Kevin gave very good advice on what steps I needed to take to get my Greener Homes Grant application submitted. Once that was approved a few days later, I called Kevin back, who again answered right away and he asked me to email contact details to book my audit. Within minutes of my email, Shuchita was on the line to speak with me about booking my appointment. By luck there was a cancellation the next morning close to another appointment which would make it easy travel for their inspector. Shuchita grabbed it even though she said Anne handled booking, but she said she would speak to Anne for me to keep the spot. You can tell this company is customer-focussed. At no time was I ever forced to hang up, call back to another number just because someone else was responsible for some other task, etc. Kevin and Shuchita are a pleasure to deal with.
Mike arrived to perform the audit the next day, right on time, and the same friendly experience continued. He was very careful of our home in ever step of the process, which every homeowner appreciates, and before I knew it the audit was done. The price is very reasonable, and even though it is a bit more than what the Federal Government will cover, there was no additional charge to travel to our home outside of the city, which I had been warned by others might be the case from some energy inspection companies. I am very pleased with my whole experience with AmeriSpec and will tell my neighbours who are also looking at applying for the Greener Homes Grant to Look No Further, call Kevin immediately! Justin was courteous, thorough abd helpful. He was also flexible enough inhis schedule to fit in an early appointment the following day for our daughter who is about to understake a major renovation. We are pretty cautious about referral business to family members in particular, but we are completely delighted.
