The sylvan tutor that was qualified to tutor me did an excellent job, and I feel as though I made great progress. I was, however, scheduled for one session with a tutor that did not have any experience with the area I was studying, and I felt as though I did not get much out of a session I committed time and money to.

I would like to start with Ms. Amber. She’s an amazing director. I expressed the goals I wanted my son to accomplish. She completed his assessment to see where he was academically. I’m a single parent with limited income but found a payment plan that worked best for me. My son attends tutoring three days a week. The first time my son went to tutoring he came home pointing out letters. We both were excited! My son is moderate autistic and the staff treats him great. My son told me he wanted to know how to read and I promised him I’ll do whatever to help him reach his goal. Sylvan Learning of Harvey are meeting my expectations and happy I chose this location of the others.

Ms. Amber is very nice, understanding and sincere to both the parents and the child. She works with us and makes alterations to our schedule when needed without complaint.
My daughter has been attending Sylvan for only a short period of ytime, but her confidence and self esteem has increased tremendously. She is finally reaching target goals at school and her father and I could not be more pleased with the results thus far.
