Went in without a reservation on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. Restaurant was pretty crowded. Bartender was very friendly and food service was prompt. I had the Shrimp and grits, which was very good. Big shrimp, cooked perfectly. My friend had the fried chicken. He thought it was excellent.

We had the best service last night (6:15 pm reservation) that we have ever had anywhere, at any restaurant. Perfection. Amber took care of us and while Quinton and I eat with you all the time, our friends from Louisville, KY never had. She never glanced at the menu, but was able to discuss every item, answer every question, and made us have the best experience so far ever at SCK, our favorite place to go. She is such a great face for your brand. So polished, professional, passionate and a real ambassador. I asked for her last name ... she said just say she is the one with the "green hair." Thank you so much. I hope you will share this with her!

The food is consistently delicious, the waitstaff is friendly with a demeanor that is not rushed. I have never been disappointed while dining there or had the feeling that things had "changed". SCK is my "go to" restaurant.

The atmosphere is cozy, service is always top-notch, staff remembers our names, and the food is excellent.
Love the menu selections, the knowledgeable, friendly service, the location, and the fact that even though the room is lively even in the late afternoon, I can hear my wife when we're conversing over dinner. (I'm retired, and I have some minor hearing loss.) The wine list is interesting even if not extremely adventuresome, and is certainly different from those at other area restaurants. We usually just buy by-the-glass, and we've never had a poor or even a dull choice yet. Was sorry to see that the shrimp & Red Mule grits were not on the menu anymore, so I hope that's just a seasonal thing and that they'll be back this summer. Those are a longtime favorite.
