Best in Atlanta, period.
Ecco, and especially the bar at Ecco, is our favorite go-to. The menu is solid-- not too stodgy, not too heavy, but also not too trendy. Everything is properly seasoned! An enjoyable meal, whether it's a quick pizza before a show, or a slower, multi-course affair. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We never feel rushed, and I never feel pushed to order more than I want. My only wish- that I lived closer so I could walk to Ecco. Keep up the good work!
Food and service are always consistently good. Nice that there are some favorites on the menu (fried goat cheese, chili pork papardelle) But always something new to try.

We went to Ecco on a date before the Book of Mormom at the Fox. The service was truly excellent. First Morgan came immediately and got us water and drinks. She also asked if we were going to the Fox and advised us to order soon because most of the restaurant had the same plan. She said it with such sincerity and respect for our time. It was AWESOME. I also asked for a wine opinion which I always hesitate to ask (I always assume they choose the more expense wine) and she steered me to the slightly cheaper glass and American Cab which was EXCELLENT! I liked it so much I had 2 glasses! Then our waiter Danny came. He was AMAZING. Again, asked about our timeline and the Theatre. He said he had gone to the play too and gave us his opinion which was awesome. He had great dinner recommendations and was overall just extremely friends and helpful! Danny was just really friendly, smiley, and excellent service skills. With two kids it's hard to get out on a date and they truly made it such a wonderful and memorable experience. The hostesses, table runners, and serving staff was top notch.

Ecco is just the best most consistently good restaurant in town. Your charcuterie is the standard I measure all others against. Great wine, great bread, great food but above all great people. I have never had anything but enthusiastic staff members. Servers that share my passion for your food and a kitchen team that brings it every time. I do miss JR but that’s just because he became a friend and is missed. Our server, Mark was great. So glad to help us and made us feel right at home. Keep it up.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. I’ve been several times before but it was his first and he loved it. We had two appetizers and two pastas and we finished every bite. Our server was fantastic too!
