From walking in the door to being seated, the visual experience is very inviting. The smiles when we walk in makes us feel like you want us to be there. Seating was very nice in the bar area. Food and service were wonderful. I would just suggest opening up the curtains in the various sections...like the room that's near the outside patio. Felt very claustrophobic and we felt we were not part of the restaurant as a whole.
The food and drinks were awesome. Service was slacking. He was good. Just busy with other tables. Had other wait staff assist him.. the slacks service won’t keep us from always coming back. We are Ecco fans.

We had amazing service and a delicious dinner. The olives and shishito peppers were a great start to the meal. I had the Molto Monday Rigatoni and my fiance had the pasta that featured boar, we both loved it and were excited to enjoy leftovers the next day! It was a wonderful way to spend the evening.
Casual, free parking, accessible menu, good neighborhood vibe
Where does one start? The bar is well-stocked and manned with true talent. The kitchen is cool and organized, even when the tables are full. Dishes are consistent, and of extraordinary quality. The items that are cured, pickled, or raw are astounding—how many restaurants have a garden on the roof? It makes no difference: fish, chicken, beef, or pork—it all comes out perfect.
Great service and the mushroom pasta is the best pasta dish in Atlanta.
I loved the vegetarian special bar you had last fall/winter. It was an open faced veggie tostada. I am a pescatarian and I don’t like that the only taco option is fried fish. A veggie taco or shrimp taco would be nice. Otherwise everything is tasty.

What do I like about Ecco? It would be much quicker to write about what I don't like...about the only thing I could think of then is you need more or bigger restrooms.
The dilemma I have with your restaurant is that I like what I order so much that I don't want to wander from my favorites to try some other dishes.
The exact same meal for the last 20+ times I have eaten there...
- Prosciutto Di Parma cured ham and Gorganzola Mountain blue cheese (w/bread)
- Fried Goat Cheese
- Pappardelle w/ Braised Pork

I thought it was very smart to attach South City Kitchen to a hotel in Alpharetta. I also love the standard menu items like the fried green tomatoes!

Our waiter Nick was very friendly and attentive. We had the pork chop and it very tender, juicy and very flavorful. We love all the Fifth Group Restaurants!
