Food, ambiance, service. Overall experience is always fantastic.
We Love Ecco (and all Fifth Group restaurants) but Ecco Buckhead is our favorite. We often comment about the incredible service, as well as the relaxed atmosphere. It’s elevated without being elitist. The chef gets it right every single time. It’s literally our happy place.
However, last night we had an unfortunate experience when closing our bill. We are also business owners and belong to Barter Co and often use it. Our card didn’t initially go through, but was eventually resolved and wasn’t a problem. But the lady handling the transaction wasn’t very understanding or apologetic, especially because it turned out to be her mistake. It was probably normal energy per Atlanta’s usual customer service, but it was noticeably different than the way we are usually treated there.
That being said, we will be back, as it’s our favorite place. And we’ll continue to support all Fifth Group restaurants.

Hospitable and kind staff made for a pleasant experience. The cocktail (I forget the name) and charbroiled mussels were delicious as well.

Wait staff amazing. It was my bday and the extra effort was amaziing. I am lactose intolerant and the chef and waiter was so awesome. We loved the salad dressing. I wish we could buy some to take home.

Last two visits Xmas Eve and Sunday the food has been very disappointing!
On Sunday the steak special was so smothered with butter it was not really eatable.

The consistency in food quality and service! Been a patron for years and won't stop any time soon.
2 problems though - when I made the reservation, I had requested a bar area booth and said it was for my wife's birthday. Though both were honored, I had to tell the staff about both requests. We never had this problem before! Otherwise everything was great!

Love Ecco at Phipps. We hosted an after-work happy hour on 01/18/24 in the bar area. The service, food, and drinks were excellent. We really liked the drink specials on the happy hour menu. I was able to use my birthday code discount from Fifth Group very easily, and the bartender added it on early to make the bill paying seamless. The manager stopped by to greet us and make sure everything was good. Thank you Ecco-we’ll be back!

We had a great meal and the chef's selections were excellent ... Moreover, our waitress was superb from the start ... We would recommend Niara to any fine restaurant in ATL, and hope we are lucky enough to be in her section on our next visit to Lure.
