The movers are fast and friendly.

Communication was poor, in that when the movers came in to tell us they were ready to go after the move-out, they still had several items left in the garage - if we hadn't specifically asked about it, they may have left without them! Items included large things that we clearly couldn't fit in our cars, and while a few of them were not SPECIFICALLY listed in the inventory done over the phone a few weeks prior, some of them actually WERE, and regardless, no conversation was had, and no planning took place in order to address those items at any point. Movers also did not necessarily hustle when not carrying items (which is fine if that isn't specifically advertised by the company), my wife and I had to jump in to help bring things to the truck to get them to realize they were moving slowly. Boxes were clearly, simply marked, with notes such as "FRAGILE," and yet they were placed on their sides, upside down, on top of other boxes, essentially given no mind whatsoever (why mark them then?). Overall, the crew had a positive attitude which is valuable but by no means did they live up to what was advertised, and certainly left something to be desired of a moving service.
I used Meathead Movers to move our complete household when we sold our home that contained many old antiques; I wouldn't use anyone else. This company is organized so well from the bottom up, and each department is continually making sure that your requests are being handled just like you want. Extreme care is taken in choosing the movers right along to how they treat the customer and take care of your belongings. I can't say enough good things about them. They are the real deal!
Everyone was so polite and friendly. They were on time and completely professional. When faced with a challenge they had the skills, tools and knowledge to work through it. They are obviously trained professionals just like the ad says.
