Broken frames & they didn’t let me know . Felt rushed
I had to use Meat Head Movers Twice The First time we were told that we would have 5 Guys & show up at 12: PM & for one There truck broke down & we ended up with 4 guys we paid over $1403.47 & they didn't pick up half of what was on our list & being handicapped & my Aunt being 72 years of age and after the first time they left us with half of all the boxes & other medical Items we could not possibly carry Or transfer, I called Meat Head movers & told them they did not take everything and we can't move it all.
They actually made us pay for another 2 guys & we paid an extra $324.50.
I would of thought they would treat people with respect & if they made an Error, they should come back & not charge the person another Fee to pick up the Items that they didn't do before. I will make sure EVERYONE I Know never uses MEAT HEAD Movers. It was a great Program for your Employees, But It's not going to last if you treat people like that.

I requested a small truck due to trees at the destination. Was told no problem. Big truck showed up. BIG PROBLEM. Movers had to park truck pretty far away. It took way longer than it should have which increased my cost.

Fast, efficient, friendly
When they realized they couldn't fit some large items through the doors they promptly took the doors off. Afterwards they replaced them. Did everything that required special effort without complaint and I was very happy with their work. Would recommend them highly. Thank you Tom and Chris.

too expensive in light of the strong pressure for tipping. for this expense and the nature of the work, workers should be well paid. paperwork seems intentionally complicated and overwhelming.

Yes, you guys executed a terrific move. we moved from Meathead Storage in Oxnard to Santa Monica on November 7, 2017.
The team was on time, on schedule and on budget.
Moreover, Brett, the team leader, was very professional, as well as resourceful. Our move was a bit complicated, since we were not allowed to access the building from the front lobby and the truck were too tall to enter the underground parking. So with some creativity and teamwork, the access problem was solved.
Everyone was careful and caused no damage to the unit or to our stuff.

This was the BEST way to go to help with our move! The young men were efficient, polite, and finished right on time. They were really careful with our belongings. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family if they are in need of relocating.
Movers were great, but it was kinda pricey, and the smallest changes caused a problem. Overall, I'm happy with the results.

The movers were clean, intelligent, courteous and seemed to enjoy their work.
The movers did an excellent job. They did break one box of glass candles and said nothing to me about it. So I’m not giving them a 10.
The packers were horrible and a complete waste of money. Items that needed very little wrapping were heavily wrapped and a glass Pyrex dish was not properly wrapped and broke. Several items that were not expensive but I did want to keep were broken. Cheap packing tape was used on my ceramic sugar bowl and a few pieces won’t come off. The checkbook that was with my desk stuff that was packed up is missing. I am beyond disappointed.
My initial experience with Jennifer during the quoting process was great and accommodating. When the movers came, the person in charge, Nate, did not want to add anything that wasn't on the agreed upon list with the explanation that it was in some way illegal, it would make them overweight, and would not be reflected on some original shipping list in case he should be pulled over by the police putting him in legal jeopardy? This explanation rung hollow to me, maybe I do not know the transportation laws, but it seemed to me to be a strangely legalistic answer to my request. I was willing to pay extra, but this didn't seem to be an option, and I got the distinct impression that Nate could not be bothered by any more inquiries. The items in question were a couple of shoe racks, 3 plastic bins that fit under a bed for blankets and such, and a few other small items. When the furniture was delivered, someone instructed my roommate to stay down by the truck to watch it so that no one stole anything. He willingly did this, to his credit, but this was not his job at all, and I would have preferred he stayed in the apartment and directed the movers because the furniture, which was a lot for the size of the space, was put in every which way. I paid $3300 and a $300 tip to the movers (in advance) and I am still trying to de-Tetris my apartment. Other than these issues, the movers Sal, Nate, and the other man, did do a quick and clean moving job. I give you this honest feedback, Meathead Movers, in order to improve your service and instruct your employees.
The young men who represent the company are always so very polite, smiling, running, efficient. Specifically on this job were Rodrigo Duran, Jesus Sandoval, and Armando Juanillo. Excellent workers and very polite.
