My son and I have had a great experience with i9 thus far. I like that the focus is more on sportsmanship, learning, skill-building, and having fun. It creates a relaxed environment for kids to build confidence and learn a new sport.
The league is well organized, and the coaches strike a great balance between teaching the sport and keeping it a fun. We love that all skill levels are welcome, and especially appreciate the emphasis placed on good sportsmanship and positive cheering from parents.
I think it’s an excellent introduction for kids who have never participated in organized team sports. The coaches and all the staff have been great! This my 6 year old son’s 2nd season with i9, playing soccer.
I like that they have practice just before the game, so us parents with busy schedules don’t have to carve out multiple days throughout the week to get the kids to practice and games. I also like the small teams, so the coaches get an opportunity to know the kids on their team, at least a little bit.
The i9 program is fantastic. Perfect for parents who want their kids involved in recreational sport, but not the massive time commitment. The coaches are excellent; friendly but firm and devoted to quality play. The program is breath of fresh air for this region, allowing for involvement, fun, and learning. My kids have thrived, as have we as parents. Truly enjoyable and fun.
We have participated in the flag football, basketball, and now baseball through i9 sports. So far, baseball has been the best experience. The coach and structure of the practice/game is so well executed. We are very pleased and our son looks forward to going to baseball every weekend!
I9 Sports is run so well. A positive program that builds confidence and self esteem. Can't say enough nice things about how incredible the staff is as well. We tried another local football league and it was so competitive that I'm not sure most if the kids were even enjoying it. Sometimes it's nice to have a program that isn't just about winning but about teaching team work and encouraging everyone to support their friends.
The coach of my son's youth team (boys age 9-13) does a great job of balancing desire to win, skill-building, and still keeping it fun for all involved. Great camaraderie among the boys on the team and a very worthwhile program.
