Dogtopia needs to stop raising their prices
Pricing is relatively high compared to other boarding options I use.
That dogs are separated by age and/or size
We brought our dogs in for their first grooming visit. It was easy to schedule the appointments and they were able to accommodate our dogs needs.
Front desk staff was very welcoming. Folks in the back seemed very dedicated to watching over the dogs.
Very friendly staff and you can see the care they have given for the dogs!
The dedication to the dogs the staff show. Loving each dog and I’m totally impressed by how they know each one of their names. Keep up the good work.
Supervision of animals and cleanliness
I really wish there was an outdoor area for the dogs to play. I understand I was told that it's a liability but it would be nice for them to get some fresh air. I also wish there was a designated area for them to go potty outside instead of inside wherever they please. Not sure how that would happen but it would be nice. Last, I'm not sure if there's a specific reason for this but I have yet to see any of the people who watch over them in the playrooms give any kind of affection towards the pups. My dog in particular loves affection so I know she would love that if they did it. The staff is great though and the facility is nice. So far we love it.
Friendly, caring and they take an interest in each pup that comes through their doors.
Our dog is happy and well taken care of
My puppies, Bear & Beau have been with Dogtopia since they were 4 mos. old – Before coming to Dogtopia, I visited several different daycare facilities and interviewed dog walkers – the most important thing to us was that the dogs would not be by themselves and that they were properly cared for! – which to my surprise several of the other facilities did not do that! HORRIBLE!
I love working with the staff @ Dogtopia – Kelsey (manager) & Samantha are awesome!! – I honestly feel that my boys are truly loved & cared for – I get constant texts and videos with the activities that the boys are doing – they absolutely LOVE it there! I also love the fact that they get treated like “real” babies – when I pick up the boys, Sam is so welcoming and always tells me what the boys did that day – it’s so darn cute! I don’t know what we would have done if she wasn’t there!
As far as the dog activities, I am so happy that the daycare does activities with the dogs, it keeps them active, and I love that. I brag to all my family & friends about all the activities that you all do with the dogs, - Movie day, Paint day, Prom day etc (I think my boys should have won prom King, but I’m bias) I do think (Bethpage) needs a better camera, because my babies are the cutest things ever and that camera does not do them justice – LOL
Please continue to love and care for them – it’s so important to keep them active and participate in activities – I am extremely happy with the services, and love the fact that your team takes the time to make the activities interactive and special!!! THANK YOU for all you do! I feel comfortable leaving my precious boys with your staff!!! ~
The friendliness
Wonderful staff who are very supportive of my sweet, neurotic dog. Great facilities. My dog comes home very tired and happy!
Great staff! Friendly, helpful and love my pup like she is theirs. Ruby gets so excited when I tell her she’s going to Dogtopia to play with her friends on her daycare days.
Great facility, but it is a little expensive compared to other dog daycares in the area.

did not like the space, unable to see where your dog would be during a tour. My dog was super anxious from the camera and staff did not recognize and pull him out, instead stating he's doing great. Also should not be charged for a meet and greet, absolutely terrible.
We love Dogtopia! Our pup is so excited every week when he is going. He knows the route we take and when I make the turn onto Hempstead Tpke, he can barely contain himself!! We know they take the best care of him too! Never have to worry even if something unexpected happens! Definitely a 10/10!

Dogtopia is one of the few places we trust with our dog. We're always met with smiles, and we genuinely feel like everyone loves our pup (even though he's just a liiiiiittle rambunctious). We also love the activities you have for the dogs, and we adore the pictures you take on the activity days. We have every single one still! We also love getting pictures and videos of him having fun; it really solidifies that Dogtopia is a great place for him to be when he can't be home playing with us :)
Every single person at Dogtopia Bethpage is absolutely wonderful! They treat your dog as if it’s their own and they make me feel so confident that my dog is being taken care of in an exceptional way! They always have so many fun activities planned and when I know my pet is safe when I need to board her! This place is by far the best!
All staff are attentive and caring. They treat my dog like I do and he loves going to Dogtopia... Literally jumps out of the car to go inside!
Workers really seem to care about and get to know each individual dog. My dog is pretty shy and still gets excited every time he goes. I will say it’s pretty expensive though
Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and informative. I appreciate the immense attention to detail, especially all the informational flyers. I loved the first day report card that my dog received since this is both our first experience using a doggy day care. It helped me feel more relaxed to know that he was doing well with other dogs, and a few notes of what I could work with him on at home to make him more comfortable at Dogtopia.

Staff are always helpful and friendly. They provide good feedback on my dog’s behaviour and do the work to make sure he’s in a group of dogs he’s comfortable with.
