I like the variety of sports offered through I9. I like the option of practice and games being on the same day due to my family’s busy schedule. I like the communication and updates provided. I9 games are a fun family experience and my child is enjoying the process.
I like the practice followed by a game. I also like the amount of playtime the kids get. The kids want to play, and parents want to watch. Refs do well in managing game at a kid friendly level.
My son has enjoyed flag football! We love that it is an age appropriate commitment for a 7 year old boy with practice and game all on one day. Communication has been great and knowing ahead of time what day we are signing up for is helpful. I would love to see baseball added. My son wants to play but the long practices late at night and not knowing what day or time practice or games will be before sign ups makes it impossible for us to commit. We will definitely try other sports with i9 like volley ball and lacrosse.
This is a relaxed environment for children and teens to try a new sport. I am so thankful for the volunteers that keep it going. My daughter had played the sport for a couple of years but has enjoyed having somewhere to practice in between seasons.
I enjoy that your programs offer the community a place where youth with a range of athletic abilities and capabilities are welcome and encouraged to participate. The model of 30 minute practice prior to game for youth basketball works very well, particularly for those kids who are just trying to keep up their skill set without over committing between seasons. The 5:30 p.m. start time is somewhat unmanageable, but I understand you have to work with the time that you were able to reserve the facility. If you push it back to 6:30 on alternating nights maybe? I'm sure there's a business reason for the present configuration, but really that's my only comment. Everything else has been excellent, and that's why we keep coming back! Thanks
Very organized and child focused. The coaches, referees and staff are top notch. My son is 4 and even though he is on a team of 6-year-olds everyone has been helpful in making sure he has play time and learns the basics.
Only challenging part if the 1.5-hour practice/game. That is a long time to for littles to keep focus and attention.
I like how organized the program is. It’s not a super competitive league so the kids understand that they are there to learn how to play and have fun. It’s a safe place to learn the game and learn the basics of competition without judgment.
I like the practice and game on the same day, one right after another. This makes it super simple and convenient. The coaches we’ve had have been great. The programs are affordable.
I like the many options and times available. My son is loving learning basketball. I feel like the communication is good and everything is very well organized.
