Fast, Friendly and Efficient
We contracted with Chuck Reger's ProTect Painters to paint our house and stain our cedar fence and backyard shed. The crew showed up when they said they would and did the work they said they would do. They were respectful of our property, were careful with our landscaping, and cleaned up after themselves. On the whole, we were pleased with the quality of the work. We had a couple of concerns that we discussed with Ben and Chuck, which they addressed in a manner that exceeded our expectations. We would recommend Chuck Reger's ProTect Painters. Heck, we'd use them again, ourselves!

The crew was very polite, clean and precise. I was amazed, everyday they were on time, got right to work, and (I know this sounds strange, but..) they were quiet. It was like they all knew they had a job to do and they didn't want to mess around.

Good job on removal of popcorn and texturing. Not so good on covering dishwasher, HVAC, and other items. The dishwasher, toilet seat, stove had dust and now the hinges squeak. The sliding glass door has dust in the tracks and did not operate with ease. Had to clean it out and it still doesn't slide very well. The front sidewalk and plants were filled with dust and should of been washed off. They operated the HVAC and it was running even through you could hear it was straining for air but they continued to operate it without checking the filter. I put a new 4" filter right before they came and I have a receipt to prove it. This was not good at all. It was filled with dust and they didn't know how it got there and they stated the intake should of been sealed off. There is mud drops on the floors and walls. I informed them that the top of the cabinets needed to be cleaned as it was filled with dust and old tape. They did not do it. I had to do it. They just need to tweak sealing up stuff and cleaning up.
We called and had ten companies bid for these painting jobs since our home is built on five levels and presents unique challenges. The project manager, Greg from the start of the job handled each and every concern immediately and efficiently One of the things that really impressed us was the consulting he did early on with one of his painters. Steve one of the painting supervisors came out to the job with Greg to give realistic imput. Our living room ceilings are 20 feet high. It was not an easy job with what we were wanting to change. Both of our jobs were completed on time, well done and very reasonably priced. We will continue to use ProTech Painters of Northeast County for our home painting needs.

Mark was extremely professional. The painters also did a good job. They finished on time, which was very important to us given that we were moving in the day after the painters finished. We had several other quotes, all in the same ballpark, but selected ProTect Painters based on Mark's professional presentation and approach. I felt they would do a good job and his firm did not disappoint.
Donna and Bob were like part of the family during the project. Donna was here every morning to meet the painters and every evening to check on progress. She was my second pair of eyes and was very thorough. The preparation she took before the crew started ensured that my home was not a mess when they left.

Tim is a very polite and proactive owner who provided me a service. I live overseas and find it very difficult to get Market South Management (the real estate company I paid to handle the affairs of my rental unit in Pooler) to do anything I requested them to do for several months and numerous phone calls. I found this to be so with other companies in the area. Tim was prompt with his service and got the job done within a week after contact. I recommend him highly. The only reason I rated him a 9 is because I have not seen the final product myself and relied on friends to tell me what they felt about the paint job.
