When I arrived at the store I explained to the member of staff what dimensions of sheet steel I required, and the steel was cut to size exactly, with the cut edges burred off as well which was a nice unexpected bonus.
Metal Supermarkets was a brilliant experience for me. I was able to buy exactly what I needed to the exact size. I didn't have to select from a range of standard sizes and be left with lots of waste. Having lots of waste would have made my small project uneconomical, so being able to only buy what I needed was great. The website is great, you can enter the required measurements and get a price instantly. The notification emails were quick and easy to follow. Also they were very friendly and helpful at the office when I went to collect my order. I'm very pleased with the service I got and will use this company again when I need more metal.

I only wanted a small piece of sheet steel and didn’t think it would be a big enough order for them to bother with. I filled the request form in and didn’t expect a response. To my surprise I got a quote by e mail soon after. I called and paid over the phone and got the piece delivered that day. Brilliant service and very nice people. Will definitely go back if I ever need anything else.
