The teachers are wonderful, especially Ariel. Love that everything is play-based, rather than didactic - kids have *fun*. And they are clearly learning. The gym room is great for burning off energy and learning new skills with their bodies.

Everything, staff in general are very pleasant,teacher Heather is very knowledgeable and works good with the small kids. Flexibility in classes and ability to make-up classes. Fun for kids and they learn. My daughter had a blast and keeps asking if she can go to ballet class everyday.

I appreciate the organization and the ease of signing up for and signing into classes. "Front of house" staff are always very helpful. The teachers are lovely, especially Megan. I only went down 1 "point" because I would like to see more movement involved in the Parent n' Me class. While my (almost) 3-year-old daughter does need more structure than a lot of kids, when I tried to move her up to Sunday's Creative Movement Gym with the hope of more movement, there was just such a giant leap in ability needs and less structure that I moved her back to Megan's class. (Pliés on the first day seemed ambitious.) It would be great to have some certain consistencies among lower age classes, such as making sure the mats are all up so the time between open gym and movement time so it is clear for all kids that we're doing something new. As an elementary school teacher myself, I know visual cues with transitions really help those kids (like my own) who struggle to adapt well to change. With all that being said, you guys are really great and I'm happy to have you in Oakland!

The two instructors my daughter has taken classes from have been fantastic. They know how talk work with both the children and parents. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful! The location works perfect for us too.
