Client Testimonials
I appreciate your playful approach to dance instruction with the 3-5 year olds, and your ability to structure class in a way that teaches foundational skills through play and imagination. Megan is great at providing feedback when my daughter has had a "good day" (being a 'leader', following directions well) and has a fun manner with the kids. It's been a great first dance experience for us. (Saturday 10:10 AM tap and pre-ballet).
My kid said "I LOVED IT!" about his first theater arts class/ Lion King.
teacher is amazing
Location, prices are a bit more affordable for us, and the variety of dance styles/class times.
There was a very welcoming vibe that isn't found at most dance studios. It was clear the goal was for the kids to have fun.
I like that it feels personal and professional. We haven't been to the studio in 6 months and Teacher Ariel remembered my daughter, which made her feel so comfortable her first time in a class without her mama.
Good balance between all building and free fun.
The classes are mellow, not as hardcore as some of the other children's ballet classes in the area.
quality of productions
The Teacher Sophia
I was impressed that you responded to my inquiry quickly and on a weekend and made it easy for my daughter to attend a free class.
Teacher Sophia is amazing with the kids and my daughter is loving it.
easy scheduling. friendly staff. I love that I can just purchase 6 classes. I love that it's a casual environment. My daughter has been a nervous child in past classes and that was always handled really well. She seems more outgoing now. The fact that she was never forced into things has, I think, allowed her the time she needed to grow in to it and become more confident.
Heather was amazing with my 3 year old - made her feel so comfortable!
Convenient, affordable, great staff, flexible with make-ups and quick to address any issues or concerns
Sophia C. is awesome!
Teachers, curriculum, music selection, age apptopriatr
I like how accomodating and kind everyone is. I like the flexibility and I like that the teachers are highly creative and imaginative and involve the children in role playing and creative play as they dance. I LOVE that the studio does not place emphasis on being overly rigid and overly competitive. I think Kids N Dance should emphasis their imaginative, creative approach and find research that young children need it and SELL IT SELL IT because people who use dance to make their kids competitive and stressed rather than content and talented (there's a difference) only push kids rather than let them relax into their own body!
My daughter most enjoys the level of crafts- they are always new and clever and she's proud of what she's made! Like that hats - what a great idea!
Teachers, apparatus, location are all great!
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My daughter has enjoyed taking classes with the instructors. This time she learned and had fun in Ms. Sophia's class.
Easy for families. Teacher Ariel is great.
the personal attention of the instructor
Miss Megan is a FANTASTIC teacher; she's enthusiastic, always ready for her kids, and keeps it fun and different each week. She's the perfect blend of fun and also firm for those kids who need a little bit more guidance. I have also been really happy to see the updates you have made to the Lafayette studio -- we hosted a birthday party last week and it looked really fresh and pretty for it! And, my daughter (First name removed, 4) had a wonderful party!
The employees are easy going and pleasant to work with. The classes are fun and casual. Teacher Ariel is wonderful with small children. The make-up class policy is great! I am very impressed.
Teacher Megan
