I like that the staff and members are friendly and respectful, and that there are lots of treadmills and elliptical machines. I also think Michelle at Carmichael is the best yoga instructor ever!

One request: It would be appreciated, especially given that the gym promotes itself as "family" fitness, if you would cut back on the the racey music videos shown on the TV screens, especially in the cardio room. To be honest, I am not comfortable having my young teen daughter viewing those.

The family attitude that keeps the atmosphere pleasant and friendly. i really enjoy the groups although the group room at my club is far too warm far too much of the time. I am older and although in fairly good shape I get overheated sometimes. I love all the equipment available and the fact it is kept clean and in good working order.

There's great energy in the place! There are always a lot of people there workin out, but it's not crowded. You can always find your workout there; I mean, there are so many weight workout equipment and cardio machines that even if there are lots of people exercising/working out, you can still find and use the equipment you want! You'll find members of all ages, sizes, and shapes using the facility, and the atmosphere is relaxed enough that you won't feel intimidated, AND seeing all those people being active inspires me to work out.

Doesn't feel like a high school gym or a meat market.

The equipment is always clean and in good condition. If something does break it is quickly taken care of. I don't feel judged here and it feels like a safe environment. Everyone is friendly.

All types of people and you can do your own thing without being bothered. Enough machines so you don't have to wait, although many treadmills in Elk Grove don't work
