The people cutting your hair always listen to how you want your hair cut. I like all the services they have too. I don't always like the MVP but sometimes that hot towel and massage are exactly what you need.

Just a great overall experience, from self check in and leaderboard so each customer knows how long the wait is, to the sports while you wait. The stylists are all upbeat, friendly and do a great job cutting. The MVP treatment is awesome, and everything is done in a timely manner. Finally, the staff offers product without being pushy.

Great cut
Went in on Fri, 12/22...it was busy with my time at 1:20 min. It had Sydney as my gal, but later it switched to 'First Available'...thought that was odd... Later a gal called my name, and told her 'mine is Sydney'. Ok, when I looked up, then it said Sydney.
Told Sydney about, and she said that had never happened before????
Anyway, the 'flow' went good, even with the defective clippers. It was a good 'happening', as I guess the X-Mas effect had kicked in!

My first visit a few weeks ago was okay. I decided to give it another try and the stylist this time did great. She knew what she was doing, was fast and was really nice and awesome to talk to as well.
I like the atmosphere, I'm kinda old fashioned and think some of the services are over the top but other guys might think it's great, I don't dislike it, just don't want it. The girl I had gave me an excellent haircut and that's what I was there for. I took marketing in college and I understand your pitch but from my perspective, here is just some old school advise, I've been going to the same barber/stylist for 43 years, he is maybe 10 years older than me, no frills, nice shop, great hair cut every time, he charges $18 dollars for a cut, it's worth it. The gal who gave me my hair cut at the Glen Carbon location was worth the $18 charge but what if ? What if you didn't have all the frills and extra's, maybe some of them, maybe that haircut would have been say 15 or 16 dollars. I can't judge the rest of the women cutting hair at that location, haven't had them cut my hair yet but at least I got what I would have paid for (I had a free coupon) nevertheless I was quite satisfied although I think the prices and kinda high for a chain store operation. I was always under the assumption that the chain stores hired stylists with limited experience in order to keep costs down, I may be wrong but I sure had a winner at the Glen Carbon IL location !
