Everything..great studio,instructors and other staff, clean and close to home. I will be moving to North Van in a month tho, any future plans of opening up a studio there?
Teachers are great! Sounds like you are talking specifically about Sun Center, but not too clear...
I go Bernie's Yin on Sunday. Recently, it's getting more and more clouded and often asked to squeeze a bit just before the class starts. I usually go there earlier to secure the spot and settle down, but been asked to move doesn't help me to settle down. sometimes, I feel that the place is too clouded and not be able to relax. I understand that a lot of people want to do Yin with Bernie but it maybe the time to make a new rule and limit the number of attendance for each class. Please take a look at the situation and make some changes. Thank you.
Gloria's classes are amazing but I prefer the warmth of your 4th avenue studio

The retail space is nice and airy, but the studio space feels like a basement despite being above-ground. I had my very first class at Semperviva there many years ago and I actually second-guessed if I had chosen the right studio. I then tried out other classes in other studios and knew I made the right choice, but my initial reaction wasn't very positive to Sun Studio. In between classes, the entrance area gets very crowded and there's no graceful way to exit or enter the studio when there are so many bodies trying to get by; it's almost unavoidable not to accidentally shove someone or be shoved. The 1 bathroom situation is also not ideal. There are usually long line-ups for people wanting to use the single toilet. I actually quite like the Sky studio space; it wasn't the most ideal location, but I liked the airy, serene feeling of the studio especially on a sunny day.

mats and blocks etc are included into the membership - unlike some other studios. the location is convenient yet it feels secluded in the city. the studio is a nice size and instructors are always great! I am a beginner and felt a little uneasy jumping right in but I felt very comfortable the first day and everyone is super friendly and helpful whenever I have questions. The multiple locations are also super convenient as there are lots of classes to choose from to fit into my hectic schedule!
You're teachers are great for all levels, the studio is always clean and relaxing, the music is great and the staff super friendly!
Plus all the stuff in your store is beautiful, albeit too rich for my blood :)
- the sea studio is lovely, the classes are great!
I like the variety of practices and convenient times/locations.
- your website is harder to use than it used to be,
- a few advanced classes for experienced practitioners,
- consistency from your teachers re: teaching a timeslot, there are a lot of last minute subs. I should not have to check the website multiple times daily.
- pay your talented teachers more so it is economically advantageous to commit to classes. They make the business thrive.
teachers are top notch. Gran island studio is my fave. view is priceless. entrance areas of all sempervivas are too crammed, could be streamlined a bit

I feel that the classas could be a little more difficult and maybe a hot yoga option. Also the price for the classes are quite high.
I like the large room, the free mat usage so I don't have to lug mine around and the ease of check in.
Overall, I love the studio. Friendly staff, great teachers, nice energy.
To improve:
- More early morning and classes later in the evening would be appreciated
- Different options for Saturday evening class (different teacher) would be appreciated
- It's very stressful both exiting a class before Gloria's 7:30 Kundilini and entering Gloria's 7:30 Kundilini, especially at Kits location. Perhaps a 30 minute interval between that class instead of just 15? It does help where there is physically a person standing between the two classes as people listen to the front desk people and then other people move into the space and/or make noise when there's not a physical being separating the two classes/space
- It would be great to have Katherine teach some more Kundilini in the mornings - love her
- It would be great to have Cameron teach some more Yin - he's my favourite for it and/or have a mid-week Yin not at Granville Island with either Cameron or Bernie (Bernie's great too!)
- Meditation or Chanting times would be an interesting area to explore when adding more classes. I know I would attend both a Wednesday and Sunday meditation with Bernie as often as I could and I would check out a chanting class just to see how it was and might attend regularly (I say this because I love the singing/chanting parts of Gloria's and others' classes)

I enjoy the classes at Semperviva, and the variety - however, the studio could use a clean between classes. This would be my only concern, is with the cleanliness level.
The down to earth vibe. The beautiful hearted staff. The variety of classes provided. That there is many locations to choose from, with mats provided.
Your staff at the front desk are always very friendly.
Classes and teaches are great.
But, on your website it says something about showing up fifteen minutes for your first class and the staff in front would introduce you to your instructor - I showed up early, was very open about it being my first time there to the two women behind the desk, and that didn't happen. Would have made the whole experience a little more comfortable and personal.
I love how m any classes there are, and the types of different classes.
Locations, all closed to my home, number of classes, style offered (power flow - which has many classes to choose from), varying style of instructors, all great! Awesome studio!
