Restrict class size and leave a little bit more room between mats.

I have attended Cameron's, Tianna's and Maggie's classes so far--each has their own style but all very good. I especially like that there is time for a relaxing srivasana session.
I will be attending regularly when my introductory period is completed.

I'd like for all the instructors to say hello and encourage students to say hello in the classes.

The staff is very welcoming and the energy I get off the regular students is genuinely positive.I live in Bellingham, WA. I love the location of the Sea Studio on Granville Island. I have attended alone, as well as had a couple of friends join me. It has become a wonderful day trip to Vancouver that I usually couple with a big walk and lunch.

Lack of class times available at this studio

Some classes are very full and there is not enough room to move. Also although I have been practicing yoga on and off for thirty years I am sure my poses could use some correction however I have never had a teacher correct any of my poses. I had a friend come to a class and she made some suggestions to me at the end of class regarding my posture and I myself have witnessed people who, for example, have their knees extended beyond their toes which I have been told is not good yet no one has corrected their stance. So although they are called yoga TEACHERS, I wonder if they are not more yoga leaders as I see very little correcting of people's postures. In prior classes I have taken the teachers have always walked around correcting postures, showing myself and/or others how to properly hold the posture by helping us adjust individually. I hardly ever see that happening at Semperviva. Therefore I would be likely to tell someone who already knows how to do yoga to attend your classes as they are frequent and convenient...the leaders mostly seem to know the phylosophy and how to do the pluses however I am not sure I would suggest someone learn yoga by attending Semperviva due to the fact I do not see the leaders working individually with people hiding them as to how to hold a posture properly to avoid injury. It could be because the classes are too big or perhaps you have a hands off policy. I do not see that as an exclusive issue to the Sea centre. It is an observation I have made at Semperviva as a whole. I actually love the studio at the sea centre as it is bright and airie, a GREAT environment. The staff are also incredibly friendly. It is probably my favorite venue to practice yoga at out of all of the studios!

Very helpful & informative and welcoming people (Emily & ???) at the Broadway studio who make recommendations on classes. Attended my first Semperviva class with Maggie (basics) - I really enjoyed it and really appreciated the extra instructions.

I love the Kundalini class. At first I was a bit annoyed that it was so packed but as soon as it started I realized why and I loved it. There was so much energy from everyone and I just felt like I was part of such a cool community. I have recommended it to everyone. I really love all the other classes too but the kundalini class makes you unique.

The room is very crowded - I kept bumping into my neighbors. I felt I had to constrain my practice, and constantly had to pay attention to where my limbs were. So many people also made the room very hot, and there wasn't enough ventilation or cooling.

All the classes I've attended at Semperviva (here & Sea Centre)have been uncomfortably crowded like this. The easy solution would be to add more classes. The fact you don't makes me wonder if you care more about limiting your cost than ensuring an enjoyable customer experience.

On an up note, all your instructors have been wonderful, as has other staff. I appreciate that you supply the mats, bolsters, etc, and have a place to store my belongings. The studio space are fine (except I wish there were carpeted).

I like that you have multiple studios in the area and an array of fabulous teachers. I feel sad that some of my favourite teachers have been poached (either completely or have decreased their hours with sempraviva). I like that there are a variety of classes offered throughout the day.

I love the Kits beach studio the best. It's brighter, larger, and less stuffy. Nothing is wrong with the Sun studio, I just prefer kits beach!

The teachers are excellent, location of Sea Studio is beautiful and it"s a comfortable and inviting space to practice in.

Be firm about not letting in late participants once the door has been closed.

Have more room around each mat. Felt like a sardine in the middle of the room with so many people of various heights stretching around me.

I like that you have four different studios, and your schedule is very good with lots of options during the day, and various teachers. I've enjoyed all three teachers I've tried so far. My only "dislike" is that the mats are crammed together so tightly. Luckily I've been able to take classes that haven't been totally full so you can still open your arms to the side without hitting your neighbour!

I bought a groupon 10 usage pass, and was un awair it had expired, I proceded to use what I thought was my ten pass to three yoga classes and then I was told at the end of my 4th class that I owed for those 4 classes. My pas had expired and no one told me.
A little/lot dissapointed because i dont have that kind of money.
Please keep your memembers up to date on their pass expiration date and accumulation of 'owed' classes.
