Client Testimonials
Great instruction. Wonderful atmosphere.
It encourages sports fitness, karate skills, & teamwork.
CORY !!!
Great technical coaching on the mechanics of skills and lots of individual attention.
High quality instruction. If you want to build your skill level in the martial arts, you have access to everything you need to do so.
Also enjoy the environment - nice group of people involved in classes, accessible location.
Its a warm and welcoming environment with instructors that are passionate and dedicated to improving their students. As an adult student and I feel that being non-traditional I don't feel ostracized or like I receive any different teaching.
Great instructors in Senseis Mariant, Corinna and Dahlia. They emphasize the basics and really work to make students improve. But they're not easy on us, it's a great workout.
You won't find better instructors anywhere, and it has a great community of parents and instructors.
The senseis are strict but kind - a good mixture. They also emphasize good sportsmanship, which is extremely important to us.
The best instruction avaliable anywhere!
very presonal and flexible. Instructors are great. They do very well with children. New work out options give the parents more to do than watch!
It's very conveniently located for us, and the fact that we can come to any class during the week is ideal. Not being forced to come at a certain day/time is great.
Cody is the best instructor I've ever had. I'd follow him pretty much anywhere.
Fonseca Martial Arts is a great Dojo. I had practiced Karate in my teens with a Spanish Sensei, Disciple of Shijan Hiroshi Taninokuchi person that brought Karate to Colombia, and I found the same martial wisdom in Fonseca Martial Arts. Additionally, Fonseca Martial Arts have allowed me to improve my knowledge and experience of the Ki energy. Fonseca Martial Arts has a excellent sensei's team.
Great classes, flexible hours, varierd and excellent instructors, good equipment
Traditional karate instructions and training. Great location. Great space.
1. I like that you teach karate along with the after school program. I feel it is a great way for the kids to use up their energy and still have fun.
2. I like that you have pick up after 6.(even to 615 would be great)
3.I like that my son likes to come to Fonseca and that he now likes karate.
Instructors are excellent, classes are well rounded with karate and fitness, I usually leave class feeling like I've learned something and accomplished something.
The professionalism of your staff. Having the highest expectations even of the youngest students. Discipline in a fun sort of way.
Sendai mariant and Sendai carina! Supportive but firm.
The classes are very professional, even for little kids. The classes always start on time, the Sensei that I have seen are very good - in 30 minutes they tire the little kids out as well as teach disciple and focus. They promote cooperation as well competition and respect for each other, the Sensei, the equipment and the space. I have only taken my son 4 times so far, but I am already very impressed!
Personable. My son is a Little Dragon and we like the structure, discipline and fun. We have recommended it to several people.
Oh and the Sensis are great!
The senseis that we have had at the YMCA were grat with the kids.
The teaching staff excels at bringing out the best in children, and effectively trains them in Karate. Isaac has been a Fonseca student since he was 4 years old, and it shows in his top-notch physical fitness, his poise, and his confidence. Not only would we recommend Fonseca, we DO recommend Fonseca to anyone who will listen.
Like the teachers, the attention paid to each student.
shotokan karate. sensei's are first rate
wonderful senseis and great training method. love all the senseis we have had so far. quality training.
Great trainers, great program and a great price.
All the senseis really care about the children and are never too busy to take a moment to talk to the students or their parents and to give advice and feedback.
The instruction is uniformly excellent. It has been wonderful to observe Max's skills and self-confidence grow as a result of his participation in karate, particularly when I compare him to some of his friends who do not have the benefit of engaging in regular physical activity. More importantly, though, are the contributions made to Max's character. Responsibility, respect, commitment to obligations, and persistence in working toward goals are stressed throughout the program and are evident in Max's attitude toward school, music lessons, chores and interactions with adults. Much of the credit for the young man that Max is becoming is due to FMA. We consider ourselves fortunate that he has been taught and mentored by your instructors. Thank you especially to Sensei John, Sensei Elise and Sensei Amanda. Katherine Dong
