EVERYTHING! Experienced & well trained staff. Friendliness of the staff & calm,nuturing atmosphere. Communication between staff,student & parents. It was always a pleasant experience and my child 'wanted' to be there,never a struggle.
Our son has been with Peter and Team since kindergarten and recommend them wholeheartedly. He reviews milestones regularly with us; as parent, to see how our son is progressing and areas that need improvement; so that his team and the school system can align along a common goal.

What I like most about your services are the results.
You customize schedules to meet the needs of a busy teen, you work with parents on payment plans and you supply the study materials needed.
I love that the owner/director and staff really care about my child. First name removed and his staff have been willing to work with schools, go to PPT's etc to help make sure that the needs of the student are being met. I just can't say enough good things. Thank you for helping my child reach their true potential. It has been well worth the investment in my child's future.

My son is 100 percent more confident with his learning abilities because of Rebecca and Gail. My son's kindergarten teacher is telling me how she sees a turn around in his attention-ability- confidence-learning - and behavior. My 5 year old is no longer zoning out and misbehaving because he was struggle with what he was trying to learn!! He now LOVES practicing his letters - numbers - sight words and is having fun learning... Southbury Sylvia learning center is the absolute BEST decision I have made for my child. There is no turning back my son will continue with his one on one tutoring through our his school years. The money is well spent because I truly believe his future depends on it. Thank Peter and Gail for turning one little boys world around - he now loves learning!!!

I like the individualized tutoring plan for each student and the frequent progress reviews and updates given to parents by center director.
Sylvan of Southbury made discovered my son needed glasses. Once he started working with the tutors at Sylvan, his whole attitude about reading changed. It is a very positive environment which gave my son the confidence to push through and succeed. My son now does great at school, reads at grade level, and actually enjoys reading now.

The SAT prep work really helped and the director is awesome. My kids have gone there off and on from 2nd grade through 12th. They have always given the extra help needed to help them excell in school.

The SAT Prep Program seemed to be perfectly geared to the same problems the kids would encounter on the actual test. I also liked the way Sylvan helped each individual student even though they were in a group setting.
