The sale of this inspected home did not proceed as a result of the inspection. I'm not sure anything could have been done differently, but the inspector said he was not qualified to make a judgement about the foundation of the home, which was fully visible in the unfinished basement, and that a further specialist would be required. We were given the impression that the repair would be major if not irreparable and the sale did not proceed. Otherwise, my client was very satisfied with other aspects of the inspection. Friendly, prompt service was excellent and un-rushed.
