A very thorough and thoughtful inspection, with good explanation by the inspector.

Thoroughness/Promptness/Each comment which referred to some work which would be required came with notations regarding the immediacy of the work and a general approximation of cost. Most useful for prospective buyers.
What stands out for me was Milo Petrovic's last comment: "I hope that whoever buys this house keeps some of the original features." Showed me that there was respect for the building that was our home.

The services provided by Carson Dunlop and in particular by Mr. Gordon Mathieu were highly professional and extremely impressive. Gord has impeccable credentials as a professional and conducted a thorough inspection. He was also able to clearly explain technical issues in layperson's terms, and advice on resolving issues and preventing future problems. He answered all our questions to our complete satisfaction. We have bought and sold more than one home, and had other very good home inspectors help us, but Mr. Gord Mathieu is the best we have seen, and we will be referring our friends and business associates to Carson Dunlop with the suggestion that they request the home inspection be conducted by Mr. Gord Mathieu.
