You handle all of the odd jobs that accumulate and that it is so hard to find someone to do! At the same time, you have also handled 3 moderate-sized construction jobs beautifully and I have a lot of confidence in the workmanship because I saw what went into it. Other things I appreciate:
- once begun, you do the work straight through to the end, even for multi-day jobs
- all of the workers have been very professional and respectful - I trust having them in my house (important as a woman living alone)
- no one tries to to sell me anything, and I have been told of cheaper/more efficient ways to do things when appropriate (ex. picking up materials ahead of time so I don't have to pay someone to go to the store).
- it is generally easy to schedule with a reasonable amount of lead time (days or weeks, depending on the job, not months as with others).
- the invoice matches the estimate unless we have had a conversation and agreed to additional work.
Overall I have been very happy with my relationship with House Doctors. You guys are keeping my house up and running!
