I like not having to hunt for a repairman..I can call and report my problem and American Home Shield lines up the repairman, and helps solve my problem. I like having the extra coverage in case something major happens so that I'm not hit with a huge expense all at once when I cannot afford it. This gives me comfort in knowing that I have protection in the unexpected things that can come up from time to time.
Haven't sampled one product yet, but I do appreciate the honesty of the agent you sent for my heating/cooling unit. He said that there was no leakage of Freon from either coil. That was certainly welcomed news since I was dreading putting in a whole new unit.
