We were visiting Pittsburgh with family for an appointment for a day. At short notice, they were able to accommodate my dog even though we were coming from out of town (my dog goes to Camp Bow Wow in our town). Did all the paperwork by email and they were ready for us the day of the visit. Our dog enjoyed the day there while we were able to finish our visit and pick up in the evening.

My three legged rescue was very nervous when boarding for the first time and the team at Camp Bow Wow took such good care of her. They wanted her to have a good experience, and were very in tune with how she was doing, and where to let her play. I truly appreciated the detailed updates they provided when I called in. I feel like they cared, and treated her like she was their own dog.

The staff. They are incredible with my dog. He’s aging now and has been going there for years! He will continue to come in and play as long as he’s able. Love the care he receives when he comes to play! Especially when he has to do an occasional overnight stay or even a few days- he loves it and he feels at home there. ❤️

Everyone is so kind and professional. Our dog is always eager to go to camp and happy to see all of his friends (dogs and humans). We also use grooming services, which are amazing and well priced. Our dog can be hesitant around strangers or new environments, but he quickly assimilated and loves daycare due to the caring staff. The facility is also extremely clean.

Great Staff

Camp Bow Wow employees are the BEST! The team does such a great job with our pup keeping him well taken care of! They know Winston by name and he is very happy when we arrives to drop him off to see his buds! The owners love dogs and it shows. We have nothing but good to say about CBW. They are there always there when we need them! They are mindful of safety and cleanliness. They interview dogs before they can become a camper to assess temperament. They make sure shots are up to date. They keep abreast of illnesses that may be circulating in the community which may affect our dogs. They offer special services to pamper dogs if the owner likes. They have awesome groomers right on site so you can have that taken care of during the day. This place has been a HUGE help to use and we hope to have them in our community for a long time! The price is great too!

We've used other facilities before. Larry is much happier and content when we pick him up from Camp Bow Wow. The staff I great and I can tell they love our pets.

Our family has used Camp Bow Wow Portland since it opened.
The ownership, employees, and facilities are exceptional in every way.

Our puppy has now grown to a senior dog, and she is treated with the love
and respect due an old girl! We would not think of bringing her anywhere else to "live" while we are away from her.

We have utilized other Camp Bow Wow locations up and down the east coast and all the way to Ohio for many years, and we have always been very happy with those locations as well. Communication between Portland Camp Bow Wow and those in other states is always excellent as far as the mandatory sharing of immunization information is concerned.
The careful attention to proof of mandatory immunizations (even after being a client for many years) is a great example of the high standard of care maintained for all dogs to protect the health population.

We cannot speak highly enough of Camp Bow Wow in Portland, Maine.
