I love the grupal classes

I love Jenn’s barre class and I like the affordable cost of the Y compared to Pure Barre.
I like that the Boca Y offers intense classes like body pump and P90x classes. I love the workouts and especially the daycare while I’m working out. My one year old looks forward to coming and spending an hour playing. Everything is so convenient and ran on time and smoothly.

We love being a part of the Y family! The extra events and family feel is wonderful. We are there numerous times per week. My daughter has taken swimming and gymnastics several times and loved it (especially the gymnastic instructors, they were so sweet and patient) The family events, healthy kids, Halloween, etc are always a blast!
My only negatives (and they aren’t huge)
1. The swim instructors could be a little more organized and informative with parents. The first few sessions were confusing and a little chaotic.
2. I wish we could go back to reservations for child watch within the new app
3. I wish you could enroll for classes and programs directly from the app.
4. Attempted to enroll my daughter for preschool and I never got any updates and during conversations I was given the expectation I would. If I didn’t reach out several times I would of not heard back. Eventually we found another school, but we were really looking forward to enrolling our daughter through VPK.

I love the STEP class at 5pm Tues/Thur. I look forward to it, therefore it keeps me committed to staying in shape. I appreciate the instructor's training and well thought out routines and dedication. She makes the class super fun.
I think the Boynton Y is great. I use the gym & it’s has loads of equipment & very clean. Everyone is friendly & helpful.

I like everything in general, but especially the family atmosphere, the education, the readiness to help, and the way everyone treats my daughter, she is loving everything and every day counts down the minutes to go to her daily activities and especially for the children's room to play
Thanks for the chance to, maybe, get the attention needed on the equipment in the multi purpose room. The weights have disintegrated over the years. I have spoken with Ira and sent emails concerning this. Last year’s excuse was not in the budget. This year I was told that vendors need to be contacted for pricing and then a request submitted for consideration. Why wasn’t this addressed again without a reminder? Hard to encourage others to join and then have to apologize for the poor equipment. Sad.

Endurance. Class with Donna is excellent. She is an excellent trainer. Donna explains exactly what we are doing and the benefit of the exercise.
The wellness center has the latest equipment.
The staff are all friendly. They make you feel welcome .
The Live Strong program is a favorite with Steve and Nancy. Nancy is an accomplished trainer. She and Steve are both caring people. Steve is very knowledgeable about all the exercise machines in the Welness center. He is always there to lend a hand. I hope I can find time to go To go to Nancy’s
class. I’m sure I would like it very much.
Mrs. Patty and her Pre-school staff are absolutely WONDERFUL!!! No words can express how very very very satisfied with the service !!!

I have been a member of the Boca Y since January 2014. I initially joined after I retired from teaching, and signed up for swimming lessons. I did learn to swim and at the same time signed up for Silver Fit. I am still a faithful participant of Silver Fit with Nancy and have added Tai Chi to my Friday Schedule.
From 2014 to when Covid hit, I also volunteered to help children with homework in the Child Watch area working with Jenna and the counselors. I loved helping the students with their homework and they were amazed that although I was a retired second grade teacher, I was so good at 5th grade math! I received the Volunteer Appreciation Award in 2016 and I was very proud to have received that award.
I have made quite a few "Y" friends and even go out to lunch every Friday after Tai Chi with my friends. We usually have about 5-7 people all having lunch together each week. They are a wonderful group of people from all walks of life.
