Products clean and shine extremely well, staff we first had were extremely conscientious and detailed, newer staff not so much. Attention to detail is diminishing which is very disappointing.

Easy to schedule, prompt and friendly service. I trusted them in my home. No residue or odors left from cleaning products. Our house was very dirty and looked great after our first visit and we look forward to maintaining it between regularly scheduled visits. I do wish our kitchen floor had been scrubbed or mopped but every other surface was truly sparkling and like new.

I think that the young people who clean our house always mean to do a good job. The biggest differences occur when the people change, which happens fairly frequently. Certain things that I look for, like clean glass on the storm doors vary from week to week and month to month.
They did a great job. They were professional, friendly and thorough.

I love being able to come home to a clean house and generally think the housekeepers do a good job of cleaning the house. I hired Merry Maids because I am at work a lot and don’t have time to keep up with housekeeping so it is nice to have people to help.
However, sometimes I am actually home when they come in and sitting in another room and can hear them very loudly complaining about my house/other customers/etc when they don’t realize I am actually there. Also, I am a nurse that works night shift and requested to not have my bedrooms cleaned in order for me to be able to sleep during the day. Sometimes the housekeepers are very loudly yelling these complaints across the house to each other and I am woken up by the loud voices and sometimes cursing. I understand the complaining because we all do it about our jobs, however I just wish it wasn’t in earshot of me or so disruptive. I would probably be fired at my own job if I routinely complained very loudly in front of my own patients that I don’t want to care for them or thought that caring for them was too difficult or used offensive language. I complain in a private location.
Additionally, it would be nice to lock my door on the way out but it’s not a big deal because I’m usually home and awake from the loud yelling anyway so I just can lock it myself when they leave.
Anyway, I would recommend Merry Maids for the cleaning part. I also have had really great interactions with the team leaders and the people who I’ve spoken with via phone. Just really not happy with the other things I’ve mentioned above, but I think that they are fixable.
