I’ve had a bit of trouble getting the cleaners to be thorough, to dust all surfaces (especially bottom shelves) and mop floors thoroughly.

Great products that really clean and make the house smell good. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
The team brings their own tools and products which are safe for all. They keep notes on requests made to avoid repeating same problems or issues. Teams are trained in how to perform their tasks.
New Tenants reported that a lot of surfaces were not cleaned and they had to do significant cleaning themselves before moving in. Here is the tenant’s report…
“ we found a number of spills in the cabinetry. Detergent spill in the laundry room, some kinda powder and gunk in the bathroom, and the dried desiccated remains of a banana that I had to scrape up with a knife in the kitchen. No big deal, we cleaned them up, but maybe something to look out for in the future. ”
The women are well trained and efficient. The place always looks great when they leave.
Crew was very nice but not at all thorough in their cleaning.
Price point
Communication of expectations was one key for us. The team wearing masks while in our house was another, as my husband and I are older and both have medical conditions that would make exposure to COVID, RSV, or the flu very risky. The team was on time, professional, and thorough.
We’ve just had our first cleaning, and we’re off to a great start!
Efficency
Had to go back over cleaning. Floors still dirty, top of fridge/shelf(s) in bedroom not cleaned, cob webs in kitchen area/ bathroom door still dirty. Slider door still dirty. Inside of fridge was cleaned very well. I do appreciate being put on the schedule so quickly. Customer service was amazing!!!

Hi all - you have been so patient/diligent about asking for feedback. I have been a slacker.
We are quite pleased each week with the cleanings. We appreciate the alternating upstairs/downstairs, and the timely email/text communications.
On the cleanings, we would probably rather have fewer "hotel touches" (folded toilet paper, fancy towel folds), in favor of just adding a random extra deeper-clean item each week, but that's not a big deal. They have done that at times, and left a note: "today we added a spot clean of ___" and it's appreciated.
Tanacia and crew are very personable and pleasant, and we have no complaints!
The ladies are friendly, thorough,and hard working. It is so great to walk into a fresh, clean home.
I feel like my cleanings are inconsistent. There are a couple team leaders that I really like and have expressed it (Jacey being one of them, can’t remember the name of the other gal but I think she drives a yellow Forerunner).
I don’t want to sound like a rich snob, because I’m far from it. We have to budget for these cleanings. It’s just a really nice thing to have with a newborn in the house.
The other thing is that when the cleaners are coming early, it would be nice to be asked if they can come early, rather than told. I was expecting them between 12-1pm on 2/6. Instead of being able to relax and sleep in on my birthday, I had to panic get the house ready for them to be almost 3 hours early. I very much rely on the estimated timeframe I am given prior to the day-of.
I cannot control the last comment, but I do plan on calling to go through the work order before my next cleaning. I want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

The girls are always diligent about doing a good job.
Price is high.
I would recommend Merry Maids of Bellingham to anyone wanting a clean, fresh feeling home for a reasonable fee. Everyone I interacted with, on the phone and in person was friendly and helpful. The cleaners walked through the house with me to be sure they knew exactly what was needed, and we walked through again at the end to assess the job. They were throughout and thoughtful in all ways, a true pleasure to work with.
