I have a 17 year old KWPN (Dutch Imported) gelding who is in daily dressage work. This boy is my pride and joy; I show him and ride him in many dressage clinics. He has been on Platinum CJ for the last 3 years. His coat is gorgeous, he has never taken a lame step and is generally a very contented (if somewhat spoiled guy). A 25# bucket lasts me 6 months so despite the heafty price up front I believe the product is worth every penny. I also put my 2 small dogs on the Caninie Patinum product after my horse success as one of these dogs is a 3# rescue Chorki with very bad hind legs. My horse always had a skinny neck. He's a beef cake now.
He used to need 2 scoops of Triple Crown am and pm and was a hard keeper. Now he eats half that, more hay and Platinum.
Honestly, he hates the CJ. He's a very picky eater and once I put that in he started his sifting habit. Good results but he just got good and leaving it in the bucket. So I dropped it. Staff was great in sending me alt flavor samples to see if we can correct it that way. We shall see.

they are great, horses and dogs love them. I do wish the horse pp came in pellet or a form slightly more coarse. I have one horse that sifts, I feed minimal grain, so we always have some left over with him.

I'm very particular on my feeding and care of my horses. My horse looks really good - no noticable change in his gait, so not sure of the joint part of the equation, but he didn't have any issues to start with. Just using as a preventative.
My older Golden has had dislocated elbow,knee surgery and of course arthritis and he is still willing to walk, run and enjoy the park and beach. What more can I say about platinum CJ. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our boy that much longer.
I am not sure if it helps as I have only recently started giving it to my dog, but if it helps, great, but it is affordable also.
