Inconsistent, unprofessional, and dishonest. We are willing to do whatever it takes to catch our son up in school. We heard great things about sylvan. Maybe the sylvan in Alexandria is different… bc i am by no means impressed. In fact, I’m disappointed. What makes it worse is the fact that I am paying $49 a session + $20 in gas. That equals $207 a week. I should be very pleased. I can give more details if need be……

Sylvan is a godsend!!! My two sons have made tremendous improvements in such a short period of time!!! My youngest son used to dread school and homework now he loves them both. He looks forward to going to tutoring. They have restored his confidence in himself and there’s nothing he feels like he can’t do! The teachers are extremely nice, patient and personable. Mrs Margaret is wonderful, she took her time and explained the course of action we needed to take and assured us that he would improve. I can’t say enough good things about Sylvan and the staff they have there!!

My niece’s tutors are wonderful. Both Miss Margret and Miss Kenya are so patient with her. They give her the positive reinforcement she needs to build her self-confidence. Any corrections are given softly so as not to intimidate her.
My niece enjoys going there. And her mother and I already see a lot of improvement in her math and sight words.
So grateful for Sylvan in Alexandria, LA.

My niece is going there to help gain the basics skills needed for 1st grade. While sitting in the waiting area, I can hear the tutor and my niece. The tutor is patient with her and explains in detail what she should do. I hear a lot of “very good.” My niece is so happy when she is finished and brags on how many points she earned. Really do appreciate Sylvan and the teachers.
