My child LOVES going to Sylvan! He looks forward to going and will ask several times a week if he can go to Sylvan today? He likes all the teachers, although, of course, he does have a favorite. He felt like Sylvan helped him the last two weeks with his multiplication facts. I like that he can set goals to earn, and earn them. I love that there are no homework assignments. (We already have so much with school.) We are still rather new to the system and have many questions regarding expanding his learning with the online help.

One on one tutoring. Debbie - the Director, really did a fabulous job helping both me and my daughter, Savannah, get involved right away. She - and the Tutors really do a great job. I think it's a little expensive, but you get quality tutoring for the money. We spent nearly three years at Sylvan. Savannah had a lot to learn.

I love that my daughter is now up to grade level in her math skills. The teachers at Sylvan motivated my child to do better in all subjects at school. I have seen so much growth in her maturity level and attitude. I attribute this to the Sylvan teachers as they helped her to gain the necessary math skills and built her confidence in her abilities. This increased confidence has built her self esteem and it is measurable. Thank you to Ms. Nicole and Mrs. Tina for keeping me informed and for being such a pleasure to work with.

Getting my child to understand the problems in school she's having. And show her how to work through it and to understand it.
My daughter has only been attending Sylvan for about 6 weeks and we have noticed a huge difference in her. She is more interesting in reading and has made significant progress. Sylvan knows how to make learning fun and with kids, that is key. I am thrilled with the small group sizes and the personal attention that my child receives. They have a successful program that truly works. My older son just went back to get homework assistance and study for a test. He was looking forward to going back and enjoyed the help he received. My younger son is ready for 6th grade, however, I would not hesitate for one minute to send him back to Sylvan if I were to notice him starting to struggle.

I thought it was very professional and goal oriented. It was specific for the subject at hand.
I like that the schedules are flexible and accomodating with busy hectic schedules. What I'm not fond of is the new reports that are generated now after testing. The original ones were more helpful when seeing where your child is and what he has learned. The new format is not helpful at all.
