Knowledgeable and friendly
Very detailed evaluation to determine reading level. Staff are very positive and encouraging to our child. Organized and very timely. Good reward system after each session. Director has been very flexible with setting tutoring schedules around other activities in our family.
I like the testing that you do before hand to see where that particular child is at. I also like seeing that you tested them to see what style learner they are. Also the communication between the tutors and the parents so far as been great.
Ivy has been very forthcoming about giving me progress re my grandson. He enjoys going to the center and has progressed very well. I am very pleased with Sylvan.
Both of our children were treated very well during their initial Sylvan assessments. Lydia did a fantastic job interpreting and relaying those test results to us. As a Speech/Language Pathlogist I have participated in many meetings where test results were shared with parents. Now being on the "other side of the table" as the parent, I thought Lydia did a fabulous job going over the assessments and tutoring options. She had a positive attitude and confident in Sylvan's ability to fill in the gaps in our children's learning. She was right. Our boys love going to Sylvan. The boys enjoy their instructors and their sessions. My husband and I were shocked to see after 36 hours of tutoring how much our older son had gained in his math abilities. His confidence in his ability to do math has increased. He is always spouting out math facts and how he learned that at Sylvan. We are very impressed with Sylvan. Thank You!
